Car help

Ok apparently while I was out of town for the past week, my retarded neighbors decided to hire someone to come out and paint the fence between our houses. Me and my dad both left our cars setting out on the drive way next to the fence while we were on vacation.

I came back 2 days ago to notice my car was covered in pollen from the trees, no big deal right? Just wash it sometime and it's clean again.

Well today I cleaned my car and noticed while washing it, that some of the pollen was not coming off in little specs all over the windows/paint.. the entire exterior of the car basically. So I tried using liquid clay bar, that didn't do jack shit still there.

My dad came home later complaining about how it was hard to see out his window and asked if I had any similar problems to my car, I told him I couldn't get the pollen off my car.

We then realized at this point that it seems to be mostly around the right and top sides of both our cars (since the fence is to the right) and that our trashcans had been moved around ect… so they could spray paint the fence while we were out of town without asking ect… (pretty cool right?)

So to get the crap off the windows, we had to use rubbing alcohol. Not something I want to do to the paint of my car, especially not my dad's since the paint is newer and even if it doesn't damage the paint it will diminish it in some way or another.

I really do not want to use any type of solvent on the paint of either car, and repainting either is out of the question. I've yet to contact my neighbors about this BS.

It seems the wind/air carried small amounts of paint through the air and scattered them all over our cars. I would use Rubbing compound, but that's an entire days work and diminishes the finish in some shape or form, not something I really want to have to do. I've heard something about solid clay bar, I used liquid and it did not work… maybe solid would work?

To take it to a professional would cost hundreds of dollars, not something I want to do.

Any suggestions?

I personally don't own a car, but it doesn't seem like your neighbors are very nice/considerate, so maybe threaten to sue them. You can legally sue for ANYTHING that is worth 20$ or more. You don't need to really sue them. Just the threat should get them going, lmao . It was their mistake and now they pay for it, times 2 cars. lmao. IDIOTS.
