Plz tell me what to d/l and get since i jail-breaked ipod 3.0


Also, what do I do to get percentage of battery shown? Im a complete noob at this right now.

Download sbsettings off Cydia.
Slide your finger across the top of your screen, tap More, and then choose Extras & Options. Then switch Numeric Battery t on :).
Download Winterboard as well so you can get themes. Installous so you can install/download cracked apps.

Done done and installous is down for good? Any suggestions?

Are you sure? I used it last week.

The repo is down for good yes, but if you already have it your fine.

Categories combined with CategoriesSB is incredible. Get FontSwap, MxTube (Youtube downloader), Weather Icon, 5 icon dock, Infiniboard, gpSPhone (GBA emulator)

get AppSync 3.1 (allows for you to download games on your computer or ipod vice versa and sync them up with your itunes account, this way it is quicker to download large games ex. GTA or RockBand) I also suggest MIM (Make it Mine) allows you to customize the top bar where the iPod and time are to say anything you'd like (eg. Wizzup is win) and (Navatwo is winrar) I use Rock since it is faster and more lightweight.

Dang I dont get wifi access for a few days. But I will be sure to check out those repos!

Just to make sure most apps from those repo's are for software 3.0 right? I have been searching and a lot were for 2.0

Bumped to say i restored 3.1.2 so i can play games i couldn't on 3.0, but i did jailbreak that. (Mostly, don't have wifi right now, so can't install actual jailbreak.) (Using blackra1n)

So, yeah 3.1.3 -> 3.0 -> 3.1.2 = Win (/fail)? I tried like 3 different 3.1.2 install files the first time around or I would've gotten 3.1.2 in the first place.

Is there a way to downgrade now or a way to jailbreak 3.1.3? I got a new iPhone and need to jailbreak it and it's at 3.1.3.

There is no way to jailbreak 3.1.3 firmware at this time.
I just jailbroke my friend's iPod today and he had 3.1.3 so I downloaded 3.1.2, restored his iPod to 3.1.2, and used blackra1n (I usually use redsn0w though).

blackra1n is way easier, I used redsn0w for 3.0 and I had way more trouble, going through the whole DFU mode. But with blackra1n, just had to have 3.1.2 and do nothing with the ipod but be on 3.1.2, have it install to the ipod.

And yea, if I found the right 3.1.2 file i wouldn't had the hassle of going to 3.0 first.

If your 3rd gen though, I think you can't downgrade for it to work.

a friend of mine tried jailbreaking and bricked his Ipod Touch.

funny how his Iphone didnt die when he jail broke it.

Get all the freeware games onto it i say. They make the time go by when your bored. Well at least for me and my friend anyways.
