1.I can't drag the cross hair on the RS Client, it will just grab the whole firefox.

2.I can't save a script. Because the path of where its trying to save too is wrong.

I know that because the default path simba made when setting up SRL, was wrong, it had a z:/home/computer/documents… for SRL to work I had to get rid of the z: .

The script is trying to save to Z:/Home/Doc…. when it needs to be saving at
/Home/Documents…. (notice there is no Z: )

Is there a way I can edit the path of where it is saving?

I would of posted these on the bug tracker, but they seem noobish :p

Use the bug tracker. Thats what Wizzup and Ray and hte other devs use.

Are you using Simba natively, or in WINE?

Wine, what do you mean natively(I'm on ubuntu, and i'm a linux noob :D). I'll post on there.

sounds like WINE, which is more likely a WINE issue than a Linux Issue.

Also, you can't target non-wine windows with a wine application.. That was the same with SCAR.

E: Don't post on Ubuntuforums, silly. Just listen to us here!

Natively means running an app written for an OS on that OS. For example, you can run Simba natively on Linux.

How could i run simba natively, would I have to compile the source?

I never said i was going to post on ubuntu forums :D?

Wine is causing the client targetting issue, but do you think it is also causing the saving issue?

If i ran it natively would it fix all my issues? :p

Yes, except that PS doesn't work on Linux.. and there are Linux binaries readily available.

wtf. There are Linux versions of Simba in the repo or w/e Wizzup is using now. Dont use it in WINE. Silly you. Once you have followed the guide to install correctly and place the correct files in the correct directories, use the terminal to run Simba. THere are guides on how to run it in Linux.

The point of Simba was to have a platform independent, stable macro ;)

Edit: SIlly navatwo ninja'ing me

You always seem to be the one to help me with ubuntu problems, thank you.

Wizzup?

Do note that I don't update the Linux binaries as often as the Windows ones; because the Linux interpreter doesn't work properly.
I'll do them both tonight.

Using SCAR in wine under Ubuntu 9.10 lets you select the RS window perfectly. Didn't used to but now it does so it cannot be a wine related bug, it must be from within simba.

But I take it that the RS Window also runs in Wine?

The RS window runs in Firefox natively under Ubuntu w/o wine.
