Brimhaven Agility Arena "Hook-65m/14 hours"

Wondering if any else has attempted this yet ?

G.E. price 5m, street price 65m+, takes about 14 hours on a medium level account to achieve the 800 tickets required to exchange for hook.

I'm thinking good reflection project….

Discuss ?

Sounds interesting. I remember from my days as a member that said arena is a pain to do, unless you have moderately high agility.

I thought about trying a script for this when reflection was going strong. Until reflection is back up I don't see this being done effectively or at all.

~375,000K/Hour with no messups, not too bad, but I'd bet there are better money making methods for p2p?

65m/14 = 4.6m gp an hour. Hooks are also constantly bought out, which means they are able to be traded in return for other rares/risings - as in, more valuable than cash. Would be an epic script if kept private and was flawless…else hooks would flood the market and mess stuff up

Oh, this is one of the rare items which its Street price (64M?!) is way over its GE price?

Ok, here is a map of the area (everything ripped from RuneHq)…I wouldn't say it was impossible with SRL, I just haven't been very successful :p

Brimhaven Agility Arena The Brimhaven Aztec Agility Temple is one of the best and most exciting ways to get agility experience along with many other cool prizes. First of all, bring lots of food. GOOD food! Be aware that pets can not be taken into the Brimhaven Agility Arena.
Second, head to Brimhaven and just north of the gate into the members area of Karamja Island, you will see a little bamboo hut. Talk to "Cap'n Izzy No Beard". It takes 200 coins to enter the temple. As soon as you enter, you will get the music "Aztec" (Note: Bringing teleport runes would be a good idea, as you never know when you'll be stranded without food.)
The Object of this temple is to follow the blinking red arrow on the map to each ticket dispenser. You will have 30 - 60 seconds before the arrow changes to reach them.
Once you find the right area, the arrow will be blinking yellow. Click on the ticket dispenser to receive a ticket.
Now rush to the blinking red arrow again, it will turn yellow when you are close to the ticket dispenser, and click the next ticket dispenser. You will get an agility ticket! From now on, every one you reach before the time runs out will give you a ticket. If you fail to get one because it moved, just start over (whenever the little red/green light in corner is red you need to start over). Note: The first time you click a dispenser will not give you a ticket.

Object Agility Level Required Experience Failable
Blade 20 0 Yes Log Balance 1 12 Yes
Pressure Pad 20 26 Yes Balancing Rope 1 10 Yes
Monkey Bars 1 14 Yes Rope Swing 1 20 Yes Pillar 1 18 Yes
Low Wall 1 8 Yes Balancing Ledge 1 16 Yes
Floor Spikes 20 24 Yes Plank 1 6 Yes, If you walk on wrong plank
Hand Holds 20 22 Yes
Spinning Blade 40 28 Yes
Darts 40 30 Yes If you fail to get past the darts, your agility lowers by two temporarily. All failures will damage you between 2 to 6 points.
Note: Stat Restore potions do not help in raising your agility back after being hit by darts, but agility potions, super restore potions, and Summer Pies do.

25 x 25 array with some logic on which direction to go depending on current level…

and yes, I'm worried for this getting leaked as my hesitation…I know we talked about future ideas from Sudoku threads, might as well discuss how we will keep it private….

Was whoever leaked the sudoku script booted from ssrl? If so, just releasing the script here should do?

Seems like this could be done somewhat easy with reflection. Perhaps a nice ssrl+ group project?

Many people (including me before reading this thread, and apparently all the people on that rsbot.com thread along with the other hundred times it's been suggested on various forums) are under the impression that it is good agility exp rather than money making. However, even with exchanging tickets, I forget what it comes out to, but it's a significantly lower rate than other popular methods. Thus, I don't think anyone will notice the potential money to be made any time soon.

As for leaking, Sudoku lasted quite a while, as far as I know. Then, if I understand correctly, somebody got access to an SSRL account and the leaking began. If that is so, I don't think leaking would be a major problem?

EDIT: After some browsing on the RS Forums, it seems many people are aware of this 14 hours/50-60mgp. What I don't get is why nobody does it…2 weeks of agility one hour a day and you have a santa.

To get the 800 tickets per every 14th hour rate, how high agility level do you have to have?
This would be no biggy with RSBot, maybe I'll do it in the future.

Reflection walking is back up, might have a shot at it if I get the time any time soon

Walking definitely will help. My concern is all the points you have to click, not just the tile the obstacle is on but its height. Some are high off to the side, some are low etc. And you have to do this for both ways of every obstacle.

Would be lots of points to consider, and making it seamlessly use it for fast reaction time to get to the next ticket.

I actually got pretty good at doing this legit, there are somewhat predictable patterns for what the next pillar will be, but unsure on how to write the algorithm to determine it…it would require a few cases to be able to check current agility level (there are traps that lower it) and determine which route would be best to take….

And the obstacles are similar colours to the ground iirc? Interception/reflection object finding would come in handy too

If I remember before you could find Choose Options text without actually clicking on the object with reflection? I doubt this is still working but would make it way easier. Just have the choose option text and then do a object search off that to the object to click. Since there's only 13 obstacles (excluding low wall climb). Though I guess find object could be similarly used.

Wouldn't it require farming tons of junk too in order to sell them for the "full" price? I don't know any efficient ways to get enough junk to balance the ~50M(?) difference, and I'd imagine it takes longer to farm enough junk than what it takes to get the hook. But then again, I never trade people so I don't know how people trade those things.

Correct but people trade edibles/phats for cash+hooks, so if you've already got a decent amount of cash, you could trade say 3 hooks and cash to balance for an easter. People do this because they can get rid of their own junk by selling hook+junk for alot more than what the hook is worth on ge
