How about an article that quickly demonstrates how to turn your SCAR script into a Simba script? Cover stuff like BitmapFromString2, etc.

How does that look? I need the list of functions to finish it.

Looks like a good start. :)

I'm not sure what exact functions need to be changed, but I remember something with color tolerance speed.
Perhaps it is also wise to mention that the guide is for SRL 4.

Perhaps also mention the SIMBA define and how it can be used?

I will add the stuff you mentioned. I also updated the look of the thing to make it look better.

I made a Wiki Development thread,
So mind locking this (after you reply :D )

I really don't have time to do the Simba define, can you do it for me?

Edit: Besides that, finished adding some Scar -> Simba function changes, Made it look better

That looks like a nice article to read. I never fully understood the wiki markup language.
Camaro, looks ok. :)

Compatibility?

I think what you really want is something that outlines/explains all the differences between SCAR and simba.

Table-ified.

Nice! When writing writing articles this may proof to be very useful: http://vila.villavu.com/mufasa/mufasa_ps_handbook/
For example the mouse types. (mouse_Left, mouse_Right, mouse_Middle)

How would one fix the problem when you go to the end of the math wiki?

Nava2

Which problem?

Well, if you scroll past IntToBox, its all in one box.

Nava2

I did that because it needs to be fixed.. Its just one tag.

Note that {.include works in Simba as well. $I is just better practice :-).

SCAR: Left(Text: string; Count: Integer): string;
SCAR: Right(Text: string; Count: Integer): string;
SIMBA: Copy(str: string; start, len: Integer): string;

Left and Right copy from the point to the left or right… Copy doesn't do that haha.

Maybe Right o.O

Copy(str, strlen(str)-len, len), doesnt that copy from the right?

This is what i had to do in my script:
{$IFDEF Simba}
Result := TheString + Copy( TheOther, 1, MaxLength - Len );
{$ELSE}
Result := TheString + Left( TheOther, MaxLength - Len );
{$ENDIF}

He wasn't stating a function that does *exactly* what Left and Right do, but he suggested a functions that is to be used instead of Left and Right.

Ah, I follow. You are right, I was just slightly confused.

My apologies.
