We were talking about phishing, not hacking. Its completely different story. I consider hacking way more serious then phishing. Losing your account to phishing site is caused by your stupidity. If someone hacks your account, it might not be your fault but it may still be your fault.
With all do respect - 50% of runescape is built on stupid people, most of them under the age of 13 anyway. So you're saying that taking an account of a kid who doesn't know more than just playing the game he loves and doesn't know about "phishing sites" and so on - is allowed?
I mean - even though you're not supposed to be playing under the age of 13 runescape - it is really annoying when you somehow lose your account or it gets hacked. You start blaming people you know, hating the world and it sort of ruins your life.
I know it might seem I'm over exaggerating but if someone loses an account lvl 70+ with 60+ in all skills. I don't know if any of those accounts up there had that - though that's still one heck of a loss. Because most probably he wasted most of his childhood raising those levels.
I spent about 2 years a bit more getting my "main" to what it is now. (That was like 5 years ago) And that's also the reason I'm not going to sell it or whatever. Someone spends a lot of time getting his account into the upper half of the highscores then some pop-up appears saying "Enter runescape through here - it's much faster than the regular site" then he gets redirected from that site to the main screen of the game. As if nothing really happened.
Basically, I think phishing is as bad as hacking.
