Hi all! Waffles invites are open, if any members want an invite post screenshots of your ratios on other trackers, and I will decide who I think is most worthy :D

A little info: Waffles.fm is a private music torrent tracker with a great community. It and what.cd sprung up after Oink (another tracker) got closed down.

The community there is very similar to the one here at SRL (probably a tad more mature, but basically everyone is super nice). You can usually find any music you want on there, and if you can't you can get into What through an IRC interview (What is more lax on the invites, so there's generally a better selection of music, but I don't like the community).

Also, I get banned if you get banned, so whoever does get this, please don't abuse it. :)

EDIT: Oh and it's preferable that you are an audiophile :), because if you're not there's really no point in using a private tracker.

I am currently getting my Ratio up on Demonoid, I had a downloading rage after being away :p
I leave my computer and uTorrent on 24/7 so I am uploading 24/7.

Nice Demonoid is like the perfect stepping stone to getting into other trackers because its easy to get into, but still familiarizes you with the basics of torrenting. It was my first tracker!

I have to go to class, but I will be back later. I'll probably leave the thread up for a day or two, because I want to let others have a chance to post as well, since I only have one invite at the moment.

Oh. When you said waffles i thought we were talking about way back when…when a certain super secret thing was called waffles. :(

When you say all types of music…do really mean so? I won't necessarily be wanting all super popular bands. If I wanted, like…Between the Buried and Me, would i be able to get it from this place?

I have a 7.06 ratio on my uber small private music site. 1.63 on what.cd.(only a few gb on there though, I haven't gotten around to uploading my collection.)funfile is 1.5-ish(150gb up/down)

Also I have 180gb of music with a lot of rare classic rock.

Yes you do :) I'm really just looking that you guys understand how to use torrents. I have a ton of points atm and nothing to spend them on, so if only a few people post I could probably invite everyone.

Also, I know being "exclusive" is cool, but please keep in mind everyone if you really don't plan on downloading gigs upon gigs of music, or have a huge rare music collection to share, then this probably isn't for you.

From Waffles it's actually pretty hard, but usually happens if you don't follow the rules (obviously). The rules most enforced have to deal with uploads, so if you upload transcodes repeatedly, or put up a virus or something you'll be banned.

Usually you get a warning, and then if you continue you get banned.

Also manipulating your stats will get you banned.

I'll take what.cd or waffles invites if anyone cares to share the love!

I have a 0.70 on torrentech (its pretty hard to get your ratio up), and can give you invites from there as trade. I also have a 1.3 on demonoid, but does that even count anymore?

I have a good ratio on demonoid :)

My dad has uploaded close to over 250 gigs on just halo 2 lol. Ratio of ~9.5 and ~10 on 2 different private trackers. (And hes downloaded over a tb on each lol.)

I keep torrents from private trackers on forced seed to fill any excess bandwidth :)

Havent used private trackers for a long time, but I had a pretty good ratio and will make sure I have one (if invited)

Hey guys sorry I was gone for a few days! This is going to be a tough call. Don't be mad if I don't pick you initially, I don't plan on leaving waffles or SRL anytime soon, so as long as I don't have RL friends who want invites I'll just keep giving them out here.
