Its my second day here on the forum,and iam still only learning how to setup this bot and scripts and how to auto and stuff.
i used to use RSBOT and i liked it.
i want to hear from members why did they choose SRL over other RS bots?

The community.
As you will come to see more and more, the community here at SRL is closer and (for the most part) more mature than any other RS cheating community I have been to.
I guess this might be because many people here are actually no longer interested in RS, but we all still share the same interest in programming.

It might actually help to think of SRL as a programming community that favors RS scripts rather than an RS cheating site.

Thats my point of view as well,iam not much iinterested in RS and never was, its just a challene between friends that i can beat his lv103 char.
and my interest to programming plays a good role too.

That we still use color-clicking :p

Though it is "less efficient" when it comes to RS cheating, we have had many scripts here at SRL that run for days without needing to stop. (Before you ask why we use Color clicking if it is less efficient, keep in mind that we are here for programming and learning, not necessarily RS. Color clicking gives most of us the challenge we're looking for while making RS scripts.)

Reflection was used for a while, but that kind of faded out. Now there is a number of people looking into OpenGL hooking for a newer method of cheating.

In my opinion, SCAR and SRL allows for more scripter flexibility, and it really allows one to get very creative and advanced. I prefer to think of an SRL script as "smarter" than other bots.

SCAR and SRL seem more geared towards the scripter, not the user.

scar is easier and can be optimized to do pretty much any thing.

SRL is filled with hard working, intelligent, and provocative scripters. That's that.

I think more people will come here from RSbot taken down, unless they find another *good* alternative.

SCAR trains you how to script. Unlike other programs that's "click play /win."

i think every one here has covered it. :) SRL has gotten me into programming/ scripting, and has opened many doors for me. met lots of new people, and has kept me intertained for the past few years :D

also, well made SCAR script is just as good as any other java script

The 'bot' (if you want to call it that, SCAR/SRL/SMART are not actually a bot collectively, rather a macro) is nothing special. If you're here solely to auto and get levels/gp, you're probably going to be disappointed. On the other hand, as people have stated, if you want a community that can help you with pretty much anything and is overall just an enjoyable place to hang around, and/or you want to get into programming, this is the place for you.

All of the above, but thats not to say you cant make profit/lvls with SRL. ATM I have a red phat and a yellow on the one account, through autoing then merching a little bit, and have autoed 94 mage on 2 chars. Theres also been numerous people autoing to level 99 in other stuff (melee, mage, thieving, fletching) without getting banned.

I stay at SRL because I am addicted.

Also as a scripter, there are always people who can help you out when you have a problem. When you post your question you will most likely get your answer withing a few hours. But also when you have a serious IRL problem, and want to talk about it with anyone, SRL won't say "whaha go cry noob", but will help you instaid.

I've started here with 0 programming knowledge, but by reading tutorials and looking at other people's scripts (open source ftw) I was able to build my own script. Nowadays I'm a part time web developer and still flowing school, but SCAR and SRL really helped with my global programming knowledge, as it is really easy to switch to an other now.

And obviously all of the above is true ;) Enjoy your stay if your going to.

Here at SRL, you will find many people who comes here wanting to just leech scripts end up learning to script and becoming a really good well respected scripters. Its the positive environment on this forum and the willingness of its members to teach others that makes this community one of a kind ;) You will have trouble finding communities like this else where on the internet :)

Only because SRL is OVER 9000%!!! better than RSBot in infinite ways.

SCAR doesn't read any data from the client, and can be botted using a regular internet browser. Although that does not allow you to multi-task with your computer, it is the most undetectable way of botting.

E: Also the upcoming follower of SCAR, Simba, will work with same principles, except it will be better :)

Better question: Why not SRL?

All of the reasons are already mentioned for you question above me, so, there is no point in me re-typing it all. It's mainly because this community is very mature, and we share the common interest of programming, and helping each other out.

Thats what I do :) And I really feel like I have 0.0000001% change of getting banned. So far I have had like 5+ accounts banned for using rsbot and 0 from scar. And scar I have used like 10 times more too :)

And scar can also be efficient as I have botted over 100m making 1m/hr with my private script :D

Because you can use SRL on other MMORPG's (Mouse functions, etc) with rsbot it is ONLY for runescape

srl less bannable then rsbot better community less immature 12 year olds.

I would never been a millionaire in club penguin without scar.

Can rsbot and kbot…etc do that??? :redface:
