We experienced a small attack from a skiddie. I'm pretty sure who it was, and if I find out a bit more, appropriate actions will be taken.
For now, don't worry.
The ``attack'' was mainly just a lot of requests; 200k requests in 2 minutes of time. There is no security breached… it's just a denial of service by trying to overload the server.
I guess it is time to switch from apache to lighttpd as well.

Don't worry about it! I get it all the time at school, but doesn't bother me one bit. One of my many nicknames is Helen so I'm used to it.Now I am not sure if anyone else is offended by it, but don't worry about me. I have very thick skin. ;)

Don't really consider it making fun of myself. Don't see why people connect Helen Keller with being a bad thing. Also if you do then I could just use it as bragging rights by saying " You just got owned by Helen Keller." Which if you take being called Helen Keller as being a bad thing should mean you just got embarrassed.
