SRL Archive - Bot Information and Spottings

Maybe an hour ago I was running RM's guild miner on my main. I just so happened to look at it when I guy says "I wonder what bot everyone is running, so they don't get banned." Looking out for the preservation of my main I decided to pm him to see what was going on. He told me that he just reported everyone even if they weren't a bot, and told me I would be fine if I don't bot. Well since I do I am wondering If I should play legit for a while and for how long.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Lots of people down in the mining guild are stupid and assume everyone who doesn't talk (or even if they do sometimes ROFL) are bots.

All reporting does it let Jagex know people are suspicious of you, and then the look further into the activity and actions of your account.

I personally am a bit scared to auto down there because of this, but if you just auto safely, use good scripts, and PLAY LEGIT often of you account along with autoing, I think you should be just fine. But since it is your main, I would use GREAT CAUTION!

I think I will just be very careful with him. Maybe only auto while I am around to make sure nothing bad is happening.

Yea that's what I'm doing. Haven't played him in the past few days.

I've always had bad luck at the mining guild, but that may just be me.

I'm not sure how it is going to go, but I will check it out again in a day or so.

Also watch the intensity of Randoms you get…I ran a little test and noticed after botting almost continuously for a few days, I kept getting lots of randoms (like 3 randoms or more in an hour). After not logging into that account for 2-3 weeks, I logged back in and noticed I can bot for 5+ hours straight with no randoms.

So watch the intensity of randoms, if you think you get too many randoms, lay low for a while.

I do that or go onto a quick chat world. I guess on quick chat worlds all you are going to get are other bots, people who don't care, or people who go out bot hunting. Not sure which I am most likely to get, but knowing my luck every other guy will want to report me.

What I like to do is turn off private, And public. And keep clan chat on and every once in a while say something constructive like - Yay 85 mining! - They look for people with their chats off but if you have clan on then your not a suspect. Happy Botting.
