Hey! :].

First of all, I have to say, that Simba seems to become really awesome. The source is clean, and even I could understand it :]. The new functions seem to be quite astonishing actually.

I just compiled the Project, but i had to remove certain functions in order to do so.

I had to remove:
  • TTreeNodesEnumerator (Probably for the List of the color picker)
  • OpenURL

Did you use any non standard components, which are not included in the "trunk" ?

Anyways, after that it compiled well, though the compile-process took ALOT longer than it would with delphi.

And I also couldnt find the functions like "FindBitmap" and "FindColor". I'd be interested in how you search for bitmaps or Colors on the screen.

Again, Everything looks really promising, so….. fantastic work to everyone who's helping to make Simba awesome :].

It's a massive project and after compiling once, it doesn't take long to compile afterwards.

I haven't had a problem with the TTreeNodeEnumerator before, but I last compiled it a while ago and OpenURL is definitely since I last compiled. The binaries are usually pretty up to date though - I just use the sauce for checking up on things.

Speaking of which, the Simba project itself is mainly the visible form related things - for the MML stuff (which is the FindColor etc), check in the trunk/units/MMLCore and MMLAddon - finder.pas is the one with the actual finding, but lots of other things in there.

Thanks mixster!!.

I'll see how i can implement that TTreeNodesEnumerator. Current error is just:

colourhistory.pas(191,27) Error: Identifier not found "TTreeNodesEnumerator"

I'm not sure how you install Lazarus - but your problem lies in the fact we use a development version of lazarus.
We use:
  • FPC 2.4.0
  • Lazarus from their SvN. (Compile it with FPC 2.4.0)
