Hey guys!

My friend got selected for the finalists of the RuneScape Machinima Competition of 2010.

He's in need of some votes, and I would appreciate it you guys would vote for him! :) He and I have been playing RuneScape for quite some time now, and he would really love to be given lifetime membership. That would be so awesome for him ^^ (This is the price the first 5 finalists get).

Haha, you could of made a scar script to log the account in, vote, and log out, too bad it has to of played at least 12 hours.:p

I voted 3 times, but while doing it I put in wrong passes sometimes, so it blocked me from logging in on more accounts, I'll finish voting later, and apparently there's a requirement to voting, playing for 12+ hours, cause I tried using an account I made a long time ago, but after my main, and I still play on my main when I do play so that account never got used much and it said it couldn't vote because you need to have played for over 12 hours. I never knew that before.

^ Yea, I found that out yesterday, nice thinking of jagex.. :p

not really, if people wanted to create tons of accounts and vote on all them, all they need is a 12 hour antiban scripts, after that use all accounts to vote. Then even if they do get banned, the votes would be in already :p it's just to prevent most people from doing that, cause a lot of people don't know about macros, although a lot do, but out of those who do, there is also a lot who don't use them. Then there's us, who can create bots to make accounts, stay logged in and then vote :p, we should do it.

and I thought you said it was your friend who was in 6th place in the original post, now you're saying, "I'm still 400 votes behind." So is it your video or your friend's?

But can you keep more than 10 accounts logged in at once? My pc can only handly 5 at max :O Even if you could keep 10 accounts logged in for 12 hours at the same time, that wouldn't make the difference :( You would at least need 50 accounts with a few people doing this, for the time left until Wednesday.

And about the me-reference: It is my friend, but he comes over at my place a lot and we play a lot together, and I also helped a bit with making the video, so I call it mine sometimes to pester him :p

You should get him into programming and have him join the community, even if he just makes scripts and doesn't bot on his account, we'd at least have another contributor :) doesn't matter if the people here are autoing or not, as long as we have activity. And ohh I thought you wanted us to think it was your friend's at first, so it didn't seem like you were advertising your video, then you slipped and said it was yours, but I get it now. And I don't know how many accounts I can manage to get logged in at once, I never tried, but on my Windows XP I remember having either 4/5 accounts logged in, and my Vista is definitely better than my XP so I can most likely have more than 5 accounts log in at once, but I don't know how many is my limit.

I know like the essence bots I have about 25 running and I didn't vote with them.. and they've mined a total of 150k essence so that's probably 12+ hours each

Oh yea my rs.txt file is pretty big it's like 50kb

Yeah all we do is watch dumb stuff on youtube for 5 hours.. I created a virtual machine on everyone in the classes computer so they can do the labsim (testout.com) and stuff.. without having to listen to its annoying sounds and I used my windows xp keys to do it (because I get infinity of them for being microsoft certified) so they can and damn better vote with my bots
