First drafty version

Oh may we praise our forefathers,
For they battled so fiercely for our freedom.
Thank the heavens that we are not restricted,
Thank the heavens that we are free.

We're free to choose whether or not to work,
As long as you don't need money.
We're free to dress as we want,
As long as your company allows you to.

We're free to do what we love,
As long as someone is willing to pay you for it.
We're free to socialise and have fun,
As long as you have money for it.

We're free to be happy,
As long as you're happy with what you have.
We're free to do whatever we want,
As long as imprisonment and fines are ok.

We're free to live,
As long as no one else interferes.
We're free to thrive,
As long as you're lucky and skilled.

We're free to be ourselves,
As long as 'yourself' is within boundaries.
We're free to express ourselves,
As long as you don't offend anyone when doing it.

Thank the heavens that we are not restricted,
Thank the heavens that we are free.

:3 I enjoy your poetry, sir.

I, myself, love to write. ^^ It's such a good way to express yourself, and things tend to come more clear and logically to me when I write.
