I've tried making my script automatically detect if there is a blue color in the upper left hand corner(for the open bank action), and it can never detect it. I've tried using all of the SRL detectors, the multi text detection which searches for multiple parts of the word. None of them work. Almost nothing in SRL that deals with image searching on the screen seems to work correctly with me. Yes I do have the updated versions and all etc, I do use smart if that matters.
I've even tried isolating the blue letter "C" in "Bank Chest"(lumbridge basement), and I even made it so only the blue of the letter is isolated with a white color around it, and used the findbitmaptransparent function and made the code for white the transparent color.
it can not find anything to do with uptext, not even SRL functions can detect any uptext, and Yes i've tried them all and used them all correctly, none work for uptext detection.
They all work actually. You need to Scar pre release which you can be guided through the download here :
http://www.villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=53914Make sure you follow that guide as it will update everything you need.

RS2 specific functions
function rs_GetUpText: string;
Gets the text displayed in the upper left corner of the screen.
function rs_GetCustomSizeUpText: string;
Gets the text displayed in the upper left corner of the screen when you're using a custom sized RS client.
function rs_GetUpTextAt(x, y, TextLength: Integer): string;
Gets the text with the specified length (TextLength) (in UpText font) from the coordinates x, y. Check the UpText chars for where you have to pick the y coordinate (the top pixelrow of the char. For the x coordinate pick the column where the first pixel of the character occurs.
Those are found in SCAR manual.

Did all that and when I try to run script
Line 270: [Error] (15538:1): Invalid number of parameters in script C:\Users\Xtensity\Desktop\Scar\includes\SRL\SRL\Core\AntiRandoms\Sandwich.scar
Btw the folder being on the desktop doesnt matter, cause I used to get this error even when it was in program fil;es.

I've done everything correctly including adding the pete plugin and moving all plugins correctly.
I always constantly get random errors in the Random detection scar files, and I'm not even checking for any randoms in my script. I have no clue how this is possible.

You did not follow the instructions correctly, because that error only happens if you do not have the latest SCAR 3.23 Beta Revision. Read the thread again.
