Hi SRL Members,
I would like to ask you a simple question.
Over the past few months do you think I have matured?
I would like the opinion of people who have preferably been here more than a few months but feedback from new members can't hurt.

I am not asking people to be reassured.
It is basically for a project.
A collection of data.
Not really for my personal "feel good about myself".

Well I guess I can't really say much because I haven't been here that long, but I can point out a few things attitude-wise:

Your script, you copied a bunch of stuff from YoHoJo and RM without crediting. Bad

You seem to help out new people a lot. Good

As previous said, occasional back seat modding. Bad

I haven't seen you flame, or do anything really bad word-wise if you get what I'm saying. Good


These are just some of the things I see from you, there is room for improvement, as there is for us all, including me, but over all, I think your attitude is fine.

E: @ Bumblebee, he said that he was just doing it to see, he never said he was faking it.

I honestly haven't seen a change in your attitude, but I've only been here for a year. You're not as bad as some people, but to me you haven't improved since I've been here.

Asking people to judge whether you have matured or not is immature.

I wouldn't have made a big thread, I would have simply asked some close friends via msn to answer my question[if i really needed too]. As they actually know you better.

Anyways I won't judge you, I think everyone makes mistakes. People should forgive and forget. As for you being unbanned from the black market, I really can't say..:garfield:

By observing your perceived maturity, you alter your perceived maturity making any results invalid.

You are the same as everyone else on here. We all have different opinions about certain things. The difference between SRL and other communities is that we are more mature. It was always that.

The only difference we have among us, are the scripting levels.

Why do you care? I prefer people who are up for having a good laugh than people who sit there and say it how it is. And for that reason I have voted NO :) Stay immature dude, don't grow up too soon :p

Actually, he's saying that he is going to vote no. Learn to read. And that shows your immaturity right there. SRL has no 'boss'. Decisions are made by a team of admins.

Read the first part of his post:
"You can forget about being unbanned."
This is him saying that I won't be unbanned not that he is voting no.
He didn't discuss that with a team of admins.

So, learn to read.

And considering that ToF is BM staff, you also don't seem to be endearing yourself too much to his vote :duh:

Also, the whole mindset behind the BM is an absolute scam-free environment, so I do find it unlikely.

Finally, if you want a propper analysis:

I did not attack you when saying that I'd vote no. I said so based on your previous actions and clearly stated that your change (or lack of) in attitude would have nothing to do with my vote. However, you took it as an attack to your person.

Then, you pointed out that I am not 'the boss' around here. Obviously not, in that you are right, however I obviously am and have been part of the staff for the past year, which I am sure you noticed. What does this mean? I pretty much do have a say in every decision around here. Not a final say, but a weight all the same.

You also said you have already talked to staff about this; It surprises me that you would have received more positive than negative replies if it did so happen.

Also, you chose to attack me and ToF over little more than our (perhas better informed) opinion of the subject.

When you do mature, you'll realize that some times you are better not saying much more than "thanks for pointing that out".

Well, to be honest, I can see immaturity coming out here. My suggestion, don't always try and get the last word in, and step down from your pedestal once in a while to say that you were wrong, and they were right. THAT is maturity.

I was pretty much telling you that if your reason to mature is the BM that you're better off not wasting you're time. It's a piece of advice / information, not a taunt.
