Well since I'm entirely serious about this topic, I will take the time to write out every word in as correct syntax as I know how.
The new SCAR, the new DEV Repo, the old reflection which was great when it lasted; I'm not entirely sure what happened to that..can someone fill me in?
Anyway, this threads only purpose is to make a suggestion for the future of SRL. Now some of you may have OCD and some of you may be "perfectionists" which in my opinion is undiagnosed OCD, so some of you will understand where I am coming from.
Others however, who have no problem with "messiness" or "do-it-yourself" type of things will immediately boo this idea.
My suggestion is to start fresh. Clear The entire forum. Reorganize everything. Keep everything more up-to-date. 1 SRL. 1 Official SRL SCAR version (apparently 2.23 ATM).
No Archives. Just a clean, fresh, new start.
Now I myself am not that great of a scripter. Anyone who has SRL-Member status is Probably considerably above me. But it doesn't take a genius to realize how big SRL (the project itself) really is. Therefore, I'm not saying dump everything and start completely fresh…(even though that's what I usually do) I can see how much work everyone's put into SRL. And I can say I helped too. But this is just so messy now.
The most common response I'm probably going to hear is:
"It's not that hard just do it right, use the search button w\e."
-Uhh no. You're missing the point. Re-read the Thread.
"The messiness actually helps. It lets us filter out the complete leeches and idiots."
-True, but sadly, you're still missing the point.
Now, what I've seen a lot of recently is:
"Script Status: Broken as far as I know." or "I'm no longer interested in updating this script."
Everyone sees the signs. I'm just saying it how I see it. SRL is slowly dying.
People are less active, they care less, and even though the idea is that when the vets leave new minds would come, it doesn't happen. Those new minds have nothing to learn from. It's too big of a mess. There's not many willing to teach, and most if not all Tutorials are outdated probably.
I believe we should cut our losses and resettle. Metaphorically speaking.

No this doesn't HAVE to get done. I'm just saying. I wouldn't mind this. And I'd be willing to help out and re organize and do what I could. If anything, the least you can do is leave me your thoughts on this matter, and anything I mentioned above. It would be really appreciated. Thanks.
