The plugins that SRL uses for random finding are really not suited for Simba…

1) They are compiled using delphi, and thus not Linux 'friendly'.
2) They take a HDC as parameter, while Simba doesn't have a HDC target.
2) They use "FastShareMem" to share Strings/Arrays, however this doesn't work in combination with Simba.

The only thing I can do is port those plugins into lazarus, and recompile them. However this will mean I break compatibility with SCAR…

Well, isnt SRL moving to Simba?

I don't think the plugins are changed a lot anyway. Porting them would be should be no problem, and probably shorten the code quite a bit too. We can still maintain both versions if we really want to keep SCAR compatibility.

Isn't SRL 4 to have SCAR compatibility?

All ties broken for SRL 5?
