When picking a colour, bind arrow keys (maybe with settings to say which keys to bind, as some people like WASD or the like) to move the mouse to allow for precise colour picking without annoyingly over doing it again… and again… and again.

Maybe also allow "zooming" which controls how far to show in the zoomed in image, possibly bound to mouse wheel and(/or just) keys (once more possibly with setting key bindings). This is less awesome and probably silly, but it came to mind when I was thinking about it.

Zoom: PageUp and PageDown

And it's not really necessary but it's good to have when picking that one pixel :)

I always used to use the dtm editor (in SCAR) to get exact pixels :/ Zooming would be *perfect* for the colour picker.
