I've made a little something so I can check up on my bots without having to be at the same computer.

Some things you should know :

• If there is a 404 error, my computer is off.
• If the picture isn't moving, my SCAR is turned off.
• Those silly open mspaint boxes are just there to cover my usernames ect.
• Yes, that is my own personal IP address.
• Yes, I'd appreciate it if you didn't do any silly things to my IP / server.
• Please keep this srl-members only.

upload the script?

It keeps reloading because of a new image but it never gets the time to fully load an image…

Im very impressed ! You should in some way add a wait time for it to load the image before getting a new one !

Haha. Looks good. You might consider reducing the size of the bitmap and make it load faster to get an even more "live" feel.

On the same level: I thought of making a script that send me an email or a SMS/MMS to signal progress or faults :)

The image file is converted to a 37kb jpg. :). I might try making it load 1 frame per 500ms instead of every 2 seconds.

I considered the sms option as well, there should be a way to do it with skype. (they only charge 10 cents for each sms.

I changed it to show the progress report. I also changed it from 1 frame per 2 seconds to 1 frame per 1 second. It hasn't made a difference :S.

Edit 2: I kept the browser refresh rate at 1 per second and the picture-taking rate at 1 ever 2 seconds. This seems to have fixed the problems which were mentioned before.

I like the idea of making it public, i'm just worried about jagex using my IP to ban my accounts. :unsure:

I used html for the server side of things and a VB program to take + save the images. (I can't work out how to save screen shots with SCAR! :duh:)

But there bmps which are around 1mb..

So im planning to make scar take the screenshot upload it, convert it to png or something using php or js…

Takes a while but works i dont know if scar can convert it tho i can make something else convert it but that wouldnt work good.

SCAR takes screenies > PHP shows & covers up the names (not hard)

It is just a webpage which reloads a screenshot every second, so yes. But you might want to make a phone/ipod 'version' where the image is scaled to fit the screen size.

your computer must be off.:duh:

You can make your own little "MakeScreenshot" function and then use SaveBitmap with the png-extension. Scar will automatically convert these images.

Pseudo-steps:
CopyClientToBitmap
SaveBitmap(Name + '.png')

why not host it on a website, like 00webhost? that way your cpu doesnt have to be on for it to work. :)

Thats actually a really good idea.

I can even see a possible 'sleep walker' type thing done for randoms.

But when his computer if off his scripts are off too. So you could see the nothing. But definitely better then showing your ip.

Myles and I had a sleepwalker, we just never finished it because there was no point, all the randoms were being remade, and we had reflection random solvers being made then.

can you make the source code public or make a tutorial so we know how to do this kind of stuff? I always wanted to figure out a way to do this.

I'll make it public with source code once I convert it to SCAR and switch to an external host. I'll also write a tutorial.

The problem with SCAR is I'm unsure how to blank out my user names and IP address. SCAR takes an image of the client so I can't just put mspaint windows over it like I was doing before. Any one got any ideas?

Make scar detect where the nickname are and make a box on top of it :)

The position of the nickname / chat windows / private messages are absolute. You can paint over it using PHP by using either ImageLine or ImageSetPixel (maybe more, but I haven't heard of them :p)

well SaveBitmap(BMP, 'test.jpg');
that but the only problem the file size is still big

That only changes the extension, it dosn't actually 'convert' the image so the file stays larger > 1mb.

Are you taking the screenshot of your desktop using php or scar?

Edit: Nevermind, i forgot , he is hosting it on his computer.

Right now its doing it with VB6 but i'm switching over to SCAR once I work out the bmp/jpg conversion.

It wouldn't be to hard to get SCAR to upload the image to a 3rd party server, would it? :S I might play around with the web plugin (can't remember what it is called).

Btw, you could just run smart with something over the username. Like put a small window over the username on the computer your botting on. Solves the problem , no?

Nope. Taking a screenshot of SMART using SCAR pulls directly from the client. It's why you can do it even when SMART is minimized.

Correct, but simtoon's code (above) fixes that problem.

WoW glider actually does something like that. You can set it to SMS you when a certain event occurs and can actually instruct the bot by SMSing back, it's really cool actually. I believe you can actually have conversations with people in WoW by SMS and glider.

Not working:(

You should use PHP to check if SCAR is running (e.g; if the image is/isnt broken) so you don't get the refreshes on an empty page with a broken image :p
