MSI Logo Competition

A lot of you may know that the writers of MSI have planned to release a Beta version for some time now. Before we can do that, we would like to see an awesome logo that we can use for the custom MSI PlayerForm.

Should Include:

• The letters "MSI" ;)
• Should fit in with a form that looks something like this:

Use your imagination and creativity. If after a week, there are enough entries, we'll hold a vote for the best one.

Reward:

• Your name in the MSI credits.
• A new title of "MSI Logo Designer".

What size does the image need to be? And can you provide a SS of what the form look like? It would be easier to make an image based on where the buttons/textboxes are.

We haven't yet decided on a final form design, though the thread is actively being updated with idea's so it shouldn't be long.

I would estimate the most fitting logo size would be a normal siggy size. Just not as tall.

I edited the first post. I don't know the exact dimensions, but I'm sure you can get the right range from the picture of the form. The form may not be that exactly, it's just an example.

300x37 (px) looks about right.
If your wondering, BH (BobboHobbo) made the template of the form, whilst Cazax implemented it :).

Here's something quick I made. I don't know if you want just text or something like this. Runescape is kind of hard to be creative and make something that looks pretty awesome. I know it's not the best but I can defiantly change anything. The dimensions are 300x47 since that's more proportionate, it fits in the logo area nicely tho.

I suspect that something without much of a background would fit the current theme better :)

I think the font's a good idea. :) But it looks to simple, maybe mess around with the effects a bit?

Most likely it'll only be used on the Form, unless somethings comes up where we see fit. It could go on a main MSI thread for a title-type thing, but I don't know. Just mainly for the form right now.

Also, I think metalica is a bit too heavy for a clean looking form

Personally, I like that acronym better. Although, it really doesn't matter too much, it doesn't really effect anything.

I suppose we can vote on that too when we go to vote on a final form design.

I don't particularly like the green. It doesn't really fit in. I say like a glow-type deal of the background color. I wanna see what that looks like. :)

Yeah, the first one (Multiscript Include) says there are multiple scripts in the include where as what we're doing is writing one script that does everything.

Its green because green means go, as in start the script. Its only there when you hover. And your idea, Im reallly bad at PS takes me ages to do anything, thats why I made the buttons in paint haha xD.

Do notice it doesn't look as good as if the sticking onto the background were properly done, i jusopened up paint and copy pasted.

I had to get a logo for my new project and didn't want to waste time making my own :rolleyes:
Just wanted to get to the scripting part quickly :spot:
