Anyone interested in Falcony?

I need to run this one a little longer and iron out all the minor issues. But I was wondering: anyone have a player with at least Hunter 43? My script works well from Hunter Level 43 to 69.

38! Well I updated the birdtrap. But it only works with one trap in the tropics. :( But pretty flawless… but crappy coding hehe!

@charmz:I hate quests: I catch approx. 30% of the kebbits. I still believe Jagex only registers Clicks, no?

These memberscripts all monitor the distance of legits. If legits stick around too long (1 minute) I simply log out for a bit…

BTW: Haven't encountered one single random in this area.

How do you mean that? If you are referring to if they see your mouse movements on screen(even if you don't click) then yes, they can detect your mouse's "path".

@Randoms, I've found that true about the hunting area's south of the Piscatoris Fishing Colony. When I was "training" (;)) hunter there a few weeks back. I rarely encountered randoms which I found odd because I had the script running for 6+ hours each time. Members only skills might not have as many randoms? Just a thought.

Fawki, I am always interested in scripts made by you. I seen that you had a re-write of a SafeCracker and Master Farmer thiever(i believe this one has been released).

Old post from Regex: found here. So this isn't valid anymore?

We don't know whether Jagex save the mouse data for everyone, all we know is that every client does send mouse data. There could be a server-side flagging system.

As for the disbelievers, in the latest client:
        synchronized(b)
{
if(~s > -501) // mouseRecordIndex < 400
{
q[s] = pb.H; // mouseX[mouseRecordIndex] = mouseX;
m[s] = la.t; // mouseY[mouseRecordIndex] = mouseY;
s++; // mouseRecordIndex++;
}
}
wa.a(17525, 50L); // Thread.sleep(50L);

As for EULA violation, no. They don't record the mouse when it does not mouse/click/move in/move out of the applet. Remember Blizzard, and the Warden scandal? World of Warcraft DOES scan files, identify them individually, scan your memory, scan your process list, scan your window titles .. they lost almost no customers, and recently experienced a boom. It's very very easy to implement in the ToS.

That would make alot more sense than client side, otherwise it would be too easy to corrupt the recording/sending of the recording.

Yes, and even easier to be banned if your sent mouse data looks out of place.

As far as I know (from the information I have gathered from Moparisthebest forums, IRC and talking with several members involved in client modding and bot making) as soon as you're flagged they monitor your mouse movments, not just clicks. Everything from buttons pressed, speed of mouse clicks/movments is watched. The problem is there is no way of knowing if you've been flagged. Regex made that post back in 2006 when Aryan was still somewhat around. If you remember Aryan had a built in feature to check if you were flagged. That was very convinent back then, but now things have changed.
Jagex has gotten smarter. They now have the cappacity to do a lot more with their macro detection system then ever before.

If you want to know more about their detection abilities I would talk to Frank_, Super_, or Speljohan as they are (or appear to be) the most versed in the current working of the client/macro detection abilities.

P.s. It's a sad day when Ruler and Geno can safely say ibot has kicked SRL's ass :(

I'm pretty sure every account has its mouse movements and clicks sent to the servers, regardless of whether or not they are "flagged". Perhaps the stored coordinates are only used if a user is flagged for reviewing purposes.

Every movement? That would be a lot of data.

Obviously clicks are sent, it's mouse movements that are in question. And alone with that, what else is logged when a user is flagged or not flagged. This information is highly useful for SRL imo and worth research.

Exactly my thinking… Unless they store them on a temporary basis that is deleted upon user logout or a set time unless the user gets flagged and the movements are stored for further review.

Which leads me to believe that they only send mouse clicks. They obviously need to check those for validity and such, but I have my doubts they would store these, perhaps only on a temporary basis. Another thing to keep in mind that they only "track" mouse movement in the client, not on the server. So they may just check for weird mouse movement behaviour, but if they do, you should be able to see the code that does that check in the client.

Method corrected me on IRC yesturday and showed me the source for their client-side mouse tracking. So it appears they do track movements and clicks.

Tracking them isn't the same as saving them. Anyway, if they track mouse movements, I'd like to see the source… Anyone? :)

2010-01-06–16:52:40 <Bebe> Well you said that all clicks and movments are sent to the server. I don't think that's correct. Obviously clicks are sent to the server because otherwise all your actions would only be client side and useless
2010-01-06–16:53:12 <Method> i'll paste some code that proves all movements are logged and sent
2010-01-06–16:53:14 <Bebe> but the actual movments would be a large amount of data, as wizzup said, so to collect that information would be quite an endever by Jagex
