i'm using latest ScarPreRelease, latest SRL-opendev, and latest reflection as of today's date:
Thursday, 31 december, 2009

SVN checkout:
http://freddy1990.com/svn/scarprerelease

SVN checkout:
http://www.villavu.com/repositories/srl-opendev

SVN checkout:
http://scardevreflection.googlecode.com/svn/trunk

im using Scar Divi 3.23b (latest)

they were all correctly placed, moved the plugins, etc, following guide from
Here, to this step, everything was perfectly set-up, including the updates, etc.

HOWEVER, when i tried to use
...\Includes\SRL\SRL\reflection\PLACE INSIDE PLUGINS FOLDER\Embedded_SMART.dll
and put into the Plugins folder, tried a script, it says
Line 96: [Error] (98:197): Invalid number of parameters in script C:\Users\me\Desktop\scarprerelease\includes\SRL\SRL\Misc\Smart.Scar
. HOWEVER, when used the SRL's included
...\Includes\SRL\place inside plugins folder\Embedded_SMART.dll
, the error is gone, BUT another error called
Line 267: [Error] (20063:1): Unknown identifier 'Pete_AnalyzeAnimal' in script C:\Users\me\Desktop\scarprerelease\includes\SRL\SRL\Core\AntiRandoms\PrisonPete.scar

came to life and it is PrisonPete.scar .

HOWEVER, with 3.22 (hosted on website) ,
theres another on
[CODE]Line 27: [Error] Unknown identifier 'MMX1' in script C:\Users\me\Desktop\scarprerelease\includes\SRL\SRL\Core\AntiRandoms\PrisonPete.scar

and all the bullshyt stuff, without PrisonPete.scar, the script(any rs script) cannot be compiled and used.

Problem 1: Reflection's Embedded_SMART.dll conflicts Scar?
Problem 2: PrisonPete.scar has some error
Problem 3: Cannot compile anything :(

i will add attachment for you to try, also basically any script from RS
e.g

program TestSMARTLogin;

{.Include SRL\SRL\Misc\SMART.SCAR}
{.Include SRL\SRL.SCAR}

procedure DeclarePlayers;
begin
HowManyPlayers := 1;
NumberOfPlayers(HowManyPlayers);
CurrentPlayer := 0;
Players[0].Name := '';
Players[0].Pass := '';
Players[0].Nick := ''; //3-4 letters from name
Players[0].Active:= True;
end;

begin
SMARTSetUp('world38', True, True, False); {World prefix, safe mode, unsigned, RS-HD}
SetTargetDC(SMARTGetDC);
SetUpSRL;
DeclarePlayers;
LogInPlayer;
Wait(2000);
MMouse(388, 281, 3, 3);
Wait(2000);
MMouse(4, 100, 3, 3);
Wait(3000);
LogOut;
TerminateScript;
end.

, it will say
Line 267: [Error] (20063:1): Unknown identifier 'Pete_AnalyzeAnimal' in script C:\Users\me\Desktop\scarprerelease\includes\SRL\SRL\Core\AntiRandoms\PrisonPete.scar
, should be coming from PrisonPete.scar , until we solve the PrisonPete.scar, there might be more error.

*sigh* you are using the open dev. It doesn't *always* compile.

It's being worked on.

so the solution to almost (ALL) this problem is to not use open dev, is that what you mean?

No, go to the prison pete random solving thread, get the prison pete plugin, put it into your plugin folders, or just delete comment out those two lines in prison pete.scar

UPDATE: using the non open-dev's repository and the non open-dev's reflection SVN Checkout, and running that script i uploaded (in attachment),

new errors came upon :
Line 96: [Error] (98:197): Invalid number of parameters in script C:\Users\me\Desktop\scarprerelease\includes\SRL\SRL\Misc\Smart.Scar
, should be Smart.scar 's coding error or something it says Invalid number of parameters. wtf? or is it the script again

then removing the comment
{.Include SRL\SRL\Misc\Smart.Scar}
,
new error too :
Line 270: [Error] (15408:1): Invalid number of parameters in script C:\Users\me\Desktop\scarprerelease\includes\SRL\SRL\Core\AntiRandoms\Sandwich.scar

now this time its with the compiling error same as before which is
Sandwich.scar
from AntiRandoms. why there so many errors :( i can't get any script to work if theres problem with AntiRandoms or any other because AntiRandoms are called by
SRL.Scar

WHICHis including in most of the script, almost every.

get the open dev, and move the plugins from tools > options > srl download > move plugins. also, theres no use in trying to use reflection :p

Reflection is out-of-date.

some script just requires reflection to work..and then reflection's Embedded_SMART.dll(plugin) does not work with scar and gives error while SRL's include's Embedded_SMART.dll works
