Points the compass towards a point on the minimap.

Function MakeCompassPoint(x, y: integer): boolean;
var
a: extended;
begin
a := rs_GetCompassAngleDegrees;
if (a < 0) or (not LoggedIn) then
exit;
a := a + 90 + Degrees(ArcTan2(y - MMCY, x - MMCX));
Result := MakeCompass(a);
end;

Its a cool idea, and nice and neat and simple, it's just that there doesn't really seem to be a huge need for it that's all. MakeCompas alone already does everything we need. In fact we could possibly just use MakeCompass with an angle to do the same thing
[PHP]"direction: Enter a compass angle ('n', 's', 'e', 'w') or degree (23.3, 25, 205.2)
and it will move the compass to that angle. Also accepts 'random',
and 'rand' to make the compass a random direction."[/PHP]

:D.

Still, cool idea and concept Heysus, keep it up!

Then again, if you're looking for say an NPC that's nearby, but for some reason a nooby script isnt finding him, as a failsafe, you could point the compass in the direction of the yellow dot and search a more confined area.

Could also work for trees, mining rocks
Possibly work something in with fishing symbols and fishing spots

i think it has some potential
(of course, not trying to offend you Yohojo :P)

I reckon' it's a great idea and that it should be committed, whether is is added onto the MakeCompass method itself, or is its' own separate method.

doh! Didn't think of that benjaa, never mind then this is pretty cool. It could be used for facing certain things on the MM to get a better view of them.

[sidenote rant]Why the hell are people quoting other people's long posts, its annoying and stupid! Just say @(Whoever Posted)[Your Message Here], instead of quoting something large for everyone to see again! [/sidenote rant]
