Well i just downloaded photoshop yesterday, and was messing around with it today. I came up with my very first signature, rate/hate, just tear it apart! :)

Mediocre. You blurred the background and added that light affect.

It's ok for a first. The background is kind of bland tho :/ The glow effect on the render is nice tho. Keep it up, you'll get better :)

I like the simplicity of it, IMO the format fits very well.

I want to be the guitar :O.

I'm sorry if i sounded a bit serious. It's a decent signature for a beginner. :p

Here's another i threw together in like twenty minutes this morning.
Started with a plain blue background, then painted in a bunch of sea green lines, used the glass filter, then played around with blur/smudge/liquify. Then i added the lighting effect.
Rate/hate? Which u think is better?

This one is much better than the first one, keep it up :)

New sig. I Tried to make kind of a unfocused forestish background by starting with a plain white background, then painting in green/dark green/black all over it. I then blurred it, did a little smudging/burning/liquifying, and added some lighting effects to make it look realistic. Copied/smudged/burned the text. I want honest opinions :) how good is it?

Your current one is better IMO, the background is killing it. I'd have to say 4/10 sorry :( Smudging, burning, and liquidfying are ok techniques but I would use other brushes to help give the effect.
