Can somebody please fix the fonts? I've been wanting to auto for several days now..

I don't see why any part of the include should be worked on until the fonts are fixed. Shouldn't this be top priority, so people can start autoing again?

Call me a leecher (Because I would call myself a leecher right now too :p), but somebody please, I beg of you, fix the fonts!!

Thanks :)
~JAD

P.S., if they're already fixed, I apologize, and I hope somebody can direct me to them.

umm, didn't some explain this to you already?

The fonts are fine, Freddy needs to write a new OCR algorithm for uptext in the upper left corner.

Just use countcol, it's not that hard.

Hmm..

Response in my other thread didn't come up in new posts, so I didn't see it.

How can I use CountColor (I assume you mean that when you say CountCol?) though.. Just count the amount of a certain color in the, for example, blue uptext on the bank booth? Would I need to use tolerance for this?

Thanks.

Yes, and yes. However, since the characters making up the uptext are now more random the number of pixels found is going to vary by at least a little (so make sure you're finding within a range).

for a bank booth:

if (CountColorTolerance(14342657, 7, 7, 100, 25, 70) > 150) then

If you're somewhere with a lot of potential bluetexts with names long as Bank Booth or longer you may want to refine that with an inrange thing with a min/max… make a test script

begin
WriteLn(CountColorTolerance(14342657, 7, 7, 100, 25, 70));
end.

I tried using a DTM before but it didn't work.. I assume I just wasn't using enough tolerance (same with my attempt with CountColor).

ChooseOption isn't working for me either.. But that's not a big problem. I'm just using coordinate clicking for that.

Thanks a lot :)

SCAR 3.23 beta rev 77+ should work with choose option

There is always CreateBitmapMaskFromText. I recall ppsuqbawlz made an OCR with this function for SCAR 1.03. Its slow, but it should work. Check pout FindText from stupid3ooo in Text.scar. Works the same way :)

For the rest it is upto Freddy.

Doesn't work. There are random spaces between uptext characters so looking for a string longer than 1 char is likely to fail.

DTMs arent too great for fonts.
Do what IceFire said dude, count the color of uptexts.

Look at my PMS (PowerMinerSupreme) script, I use a function that counts the color of the letters of uptext to determine uptext instead of actually reading it, It works just fine!

Sorry if I repeated anything said above, not much time on the computer right now.
