TPA is a TPointArray. Array of x,y coords. In pixelworld usefull for a lot of things.

SCAR doesn't support OOP, does it? so TPoint is a record/struct not an object?

No, SCAR does not support OOP. A TPoint is a type.

type Tpoint = record;
x, y: integer;
end;

TPA: array of tpoint;
is the same as
TPA: TPointArray;

SCAR/SRL has just predefined TPointArray for easy usage.

Using:
var
tp: TPoint;
begin
tp := point(0, 0);
//or
tp.x := 0;
tp.y := 0;
end;

idk, I havent done stuff with SCAR for a long time. This is just what I remember

type
TPoint = record
x, y:integer;
end;

TPointArray: array of TPoint
T2DPointArray: array of TPointArray

var
TP: TPoint;
TPA: TPointArray;
ATPA: T2DPointArray;

If you wish to find more knowledge on TPAs I suggest searching for Naum's TPA tutorial or having a read through WizzyPluggin.dpr ;)

WizzyPluggin has most of the array splitting, analysing and sorting methods we use.
