Well color bots have a downside, they rely on color ect
Java bots /reflection is much easier (to an extent) so yeah.
But that's the POINT OF SRL. Have a challenge, have fun scripting, thinking of ways to get past all the crap jagex throws in our face. It's its cycle like Brian said, its always been this way.
To be honest, I'd rather like to program a powerminer or powerchopper once and only once and have whatever macro program I'm using, update it's functions well enough so I will never have to modify my script. With reflection, you can do just that.
As sad as it is, SCAR is old technology in the macroing community and most have moved on to neXus and other similar reflection bots. I've seen that neXus uses Java which I thought was really cool. Instead of reinventing the wheel (SCAR is it's own programming language), just utilize and already built one. They have the right idea but I don't like how it's pay per use.
Aren't there any open source, reflection-using bots that are looking for developers/contributors to make the best and most updated bot on the market? That's my vision. :)
