Actually after testing for a while FindFishingSpot wasnt still working properly.
I've edited it and it is working pretty well now. up to 1hour 20min atm.

Well as far as I know, a mod has to approve your script before you post it in the FFA section anyway, so it must be okay. They may want a couple banking script in this section to draw more people to SRL. That's just a guess though.

overall looks like a good script, nice porggres report!

Update to dev versions of scar and srl. should fix the problem.

I updated to dev version of srl but i still get the same problem. Where can i get the dev version of scar?

are you in draynor bank / near draynor fishing spot?
try going to debug and changing that from false to true on line 85.
then post here the last 10 or so lines from your debug box.

Powerfishing might not work unless your at draynor because of a failsafe i've added. but go ahead. i just havn't had the time to get around to it.

Ohhh sorrry, thats my bad. ill fix and reupload. it's because of the numbers above the bait ruining the dtm i made. upload in 10 seconds.

it doesn't exit though it keeps going over the bank areas then just gets stuck up the top left.

Sweet. well if i make a dud script im gonna apologize for it. im also going to change the banking make it have more failsafes. but it should work atm.

It's not a dud script, it just needs a bit more fine tuning. :3

It works. (and banks) ive been running it for the last 2 hours and hasnt screwed up yet.

The v1.6 script runs perfectly up until the banking…
When i walk into the bank the mouse hovers over the bank booth, but doesn't do anything.

Sometimes it hovers to the correct spot and right clicks but then moves to a different part of the screen without clicking the "bank" option.

And since I'm using SMART every time this happens i have to log in through my browser to bank my load and give it another fresh try >_<


I have tried about all I could think of to correct this as well as the things mentioned here.
If there is any other info i can give you please let me know.

Are you sure you've updated to dev version of scar/srl??

Also, you can press the disable smart button on the smart client, then you can control your runescape guy without going through the website.

Not being completely sure I uninstalled scar and subversion and followed the same tut mentioned in this thread. This time I also downloaded scar through SVN opposed to the website available installer I used last time. I think someone had that same problem with this script. So now, yes, everything up to date. I'll edit post back after I test. & Thanks a lot for the smart client tip!

Although I did leave the room and when I came back was logged out, but it ran for 8 loads, 13 minutes. I'm running it again now I'll post back if I'm having more trouble, otherwise I'll edit post with good proggy.

I haven't been paying much attention, but it seems about every 10-20 minutes I end up logged out. I've just been hitting play again and it picks back up for another little bit.. Trying the v1.7 now.

sometimes the icon is out of the bank a bit and it walks bottom right side and cant find the bank. that might have been why?

E: when banking it sometimes misses some fish, is this antiban if not it would be a good antiban, something like that, instead of "all" all the time sometimes make it 10 or x, it may do less fish by the hour but hey that little bit less of a chance of getting banned.

it said it couldnt find equipment, but i was in a random, when i tried to run it again the SMART window got epic laggy, restarted scar and it fixed it.

I could make it do that, then put them all in. still same amount of fish just a couple of seconds more. If it missed fish and went back to the fishing spot it wouldn't be humanlike at all.

the laggyness is a problem with scar. should be fixed in simba :D. and also i've added findnormalrandoms just before it looks for the equipment.

so does the new version actually bank the fish?

I've been trying it out, it always quits on me after 10 to 20 minutes of runtime. The reason seems to be varied. Sometimes it will not recognize inactive water and will just stand there. Sometimes it can't bank and just stands in the bank with a full load of fish. I can't see the mouse at this point so I'm thinking it may be an antirandom that is botched up. Otherwise it looks great, I just wish it would run longer for me. One other small thing is sometimes it will only bank sardines and not herring, or vice versa. Not a big deal, but that cuts down the efficiency a bit.

It works perfectly for me, any problems i think has something to do with your computer….

IF and im not sure, been too long since i was bait fishing…IF you have 1 bat left, and no invo spots, can you keep fishing

(ie you have 1 rod 1 bait and 26 trout can you fish again… or do you have to drop a fish, and fish again, and re-pick up that fish you dropped)

IF you can, try adding a option to, when you bank, withdraw 27 bait after you bank the fish, just gives an extra slot, and its what I would do personally, so it would make it more human like…

Everything works well but,if the fishing spot changes it dosen`t do anything anymore.

From what I saw it ran well. It stopped because of this error:

if random(2) = 0 then swap(CatchColor[0],CatchColor[1]); //So it doesnt always click on the shrimps first.

My character was standing in the bank with a full inventory of shrimp.

its probably outdated. that or you dont have scar/simba setup right

and to timmie, theres alot of scripts out there. most that you can see will have a guide next to where you have to do things. i used to be just like you and not know the smallest thing, now i can figure out and fix small bugs, and soon ill try to learn scripting when i have time. i think varrock east miner was a simple setup? not sure. look it up :)
