Markus pointed me out that you can embed windows into your own window..
We could possibly embed SMART into Mufasa?
Proof of concept:

PS: Not sure if it will work on linux.

Is there any real benefit to it? To me, I think it would just mean that you would have to have it set to a massive size to be able to show both Smart and the actual scripting area and the debug box. Also, how easy would it be to make a dynamic system that would only show the appropriate area when Smart is actually running or wouldn't crash if Smart wasn't installed?

If we are going to want multiple scripts, you will have multiple smart windows open.. That's not really neat, more likely unorganized. If we integrate this in Mufasa it will be much neater + organized since a smart is actually bound to a certain script/tab. We could just make it so that you have either SMART or the Scripting interface. We could even make it optionally integrated with a simple button click.

@mixster, tabbed windows work nicely too.
Such as, Tab for SCRIPT. then subtab for Script, and Smart.

I see your point Ray, but feel that would be a silly idea Nava2 - I don't know a single program that works like that and I'm pretty sure there's a reason. Having a button or the like to switch between the two would be fine, but I don't see subtab-like things looking at all nice nor am I sure how they would display.
Rather than switching between the two, making the scripting section as well as the Smart section collapsible could be nice. Of course, having a second form that could handle multiple Smarts would also work, but I foresee how it would be hard to make it obvious which one they relate too etc.

I really don't see it happening until we integrate the process per tab idea + make our own smart.

I wouldn't include it unless it is GPL'd. Read sig.

I know this isn't a suuuper idea, but what about writing our own.. :o

Sure dude that works but i say we should avoid closed-source libraries as much as possible.

Where's cogat when you need it :p
I think it's a good idea. Actually, I think we should have a "scripting mode" and a "botting mode" if we embed it into the client so it ends up inline, replacing the script editor. Perhaps we could port something from RSBot?

Before we make our own smart, someone needs to create a proper JNI lib for Lazarus/FPC.
We can use Freddies code and adapt it (it's licensed as GPL).

Quite ironic, but why not though?

SMART is GPL now.. maybe it could work?
Only problem being, I personally would prefer Simba to not be only a RS botting tool. Embedding SMART into it would be stupid I think. Now, if there was a button to "download SRL, Includes (etc)", and have SMART as an option of being automatic like that, yes, it would be nice.

It would be cool if we could make it like nexus, run mutibots in one window.

I vote yes, but but don't make it too RS-related, but add it like a "feature" or something :)
