Alright I recently purchased a Dazzle DVD Recorder to record my call of duty modern warfare 2 gameplay… Which I then planned to upload to youtube… Everything's fine qualitys good, its working, but like 4 minutes of recording is 1gb+, So is there anyway to make this smaller? Cause if not that really sucks…

Make sure it's not saving them as .avi as they are bigger files. Also, try recording at a "medium" level quality.

Run the files through VirtualDub and compress them.
