Varrock West Bank

Wanted

2009-11-21 19:12:35

Ok so I've been working on this for a long time, I am approaching varrock west bank from the west. I am trying to land in the most south west bank booth:

Can anyone help me?

well lets see. There is the dungeon symbol that doesnt move very much, a door with the color 255 is right by the area you want to walk too. The NPC by the door is static (doesnt move) so you could use the distance between the two to differentiate between other area's for security.

Btw are you making an aircrafter? (if so then you may have some competition :))

My first 2 suggestions would be to either make a DTM of the Bankers and adjust your Clicking coord appropriately. Or, Search a box around the ladder to get the ladder color, then adjust your clicking coord appropriately. There are a few different options. Just test out which ones work best.

Eh I've already considered all those, it's a matter of getting them to work properly and scalable enough where it can walk pretty close to that booth within half or more the distance of the minimap.

Yea it's an aircrafter, the walking is what needed the most work, all of the walking is done except this part.

DTM fails because it mistakes with the east bankers, and ladder is too high for a scalable function.

I just used a DTM to walk to the middle of the bank itself. I dont see why you need to walk to the bottom booth (imo). I personally would use the Dungeon symbol, its what I use in my script to get a good distance check.

Well the important thing is it gets on the west side of the bank, otherwise the walkto function won't work right because the dtm point will be off the map for the first roadto.

That and any legit player would use that side of the bank, preferably the southern western slots.

Btw: Zoro kicks Itchogos ass :)

Try this:

program New;
{.Include SRL/SRL.Scar}

Var x, y : Integer;

Procedure ToBank;
Var TPA : TPointArray;
ATPA : T2DPointArray;
I : Integer;
Begin
FindColors(TPA, FindLadderColor, MMX1, MMY1, MMX2, MMY2);
ATPA := SplitTPA(TPA, 6);
For I := 0 To High(ATPA) Do
If PointInBox(MiddleTPA(ATPA[I]), IntToBox(MMX1, MMY1, MMCX + 76, MMCY)) Then
Begin
Mouse(MiddleTPA(ATPA[I]).X, MiddleTPA(ATPA[I]).Y + 44, 5, 5, True);
FFlag(0);
Exit;
End;
End;

Begin
SetupSRL;
ToBank;
End.

well no obviously so. You simply need to be smart with how you make the DTM no? I've managed to get my DTM to walk to me to the middle-western side of the bank everytime, then only seach the west side of the bank for the booth's so the script starts on the west side always. I also use TPA walking so It doesnt require an exact position to start, it just looks for where to stop.

[offtopic] Ichigo is god [/offtopic]

edit:

done and done: (I might steal this too haha, I did a quick test and it worked). Ignore the standards and if I have to many ends or whatever, I have it in a big long function and tried to quickly steal it out.

begin
if FindColors(TPA, BankColor, MMx1, MMy1, MMx2, MMy2) then
if Length(TPA) > 0 then
begin
for i := 0 to High(TPA) do
begin
if FindColor(x, y, 1511, TPA[i].x-10, TPA[i].y-10, TPA[i].x+10, TPA[i].y+10) then
begin
WriteLn('Red Door Color found.');
Mouse(x+8, y, 3, 3, True);
Result := True;
FFlag(10);
Exit;
end;
end;
end;
end;

begin
SetUpSRL;
BankColor := 195836;
end.

its by no means perfect. A better sorting idea ex. GetLadderColor then use the x and y to sortTPA from the NPC color.

I'll try that if this doesn't work:

function WalkInBank: Boolean;
var
TPA: TPointArray;
TB: Tpoint;
begin
if (FindColors(TPA, FindLadderColor, MMX1, MMCY, 640, MMY2)) then
if (Length(TPA) > 0) then
begin
TB := MiddleTPA(TPA);
if (InCircle(TB.X, TB.Y, MMCX, MMCY, 75)) then
begin
Result := True;
Mouse(TB.X + 32, TB.Y - 62, 0, 0, True);
FFlag(0);
Exit;
end;
end;
end;

It's basically what naum posted but is simpler and uses the southern ladder.

Who are you calling a god?

….

that ain't no pokemon.

Ichigo is Win! And I'm excited to see what your end result for your script looks like.

function findMMbank:boolean;
var
i,x2,bankers, x, y:integer;
begin
if not loggedin then exit;
bankers:=DTMFromString('78DA635CCDC4C0B096010C182114C39F3F4C7' +
'0FE7F206004A9598A5B0D9806A9D98A5F0D0073770E02');
for i:=1 to 8 do
begin
x2:=mmx1+round((mmx2-mmx1)*(i/8));
if DTMrotated(bankers,x,y,mmx1,mmy1,x2,mmy2) then
begin
if mfnf(x+8,y,1,1) then
begin
fflag(0);
result:=true;
break;
end;
end;
end;
freeDTM(bankers);
end;

This was made by munk about a year or less ago. It worked a few months ago.

Credits to munk of course

I have made a DTM that I can use to always arrive to the bank booth above yours(on the pic). Yeah, I can't use it from farther away to the west so I had to go to the bottom of the bank. Although other parts of the walking fails. Using two western banker and two eastern(the bottom ones so we won't glide on the y axis).

Oh, and Alucard FTW. Or Lelouch(omg, had to google the spelling :S). Then comes Ichigo :D.

Alucard isn't a swordsman -.-, Lelouch's powers suck balls compared to eneru, brahm, ohm (monks who can read moves across an entire 40 mile island that got their ass kicked by zoro) and I'm pretty sure bullets make zoro and ichigo laugh.

Btw, I used a dtm of the bottom two west bankers and the red door.

Okay, problem solved. <- That wanted to be the ontopic part :unsure:
But you don't know Alucard …
He can't die and he always wins. No matter what. He is just unstoppable. Okay, okay he was once defeated by a human. But super heroes like Ichigo or zoro(sorry I don't know him :() can't kill him, just simple humans. And his bullets just for the show, those aren't his main "weapon". Although, I haven't read the manga fully because I want to read it translated and it isn't yet to Hungarian. Just 5 of them. Btw, sorry for off-topic.
