One thing that many find (semi-)annoying is the fact that whenever you download a script, you have to put in your username and password for everyone in your army, and you have to do that for EVERY script you have. Then when a script is updated, you have to do it AGAIN.
So I was thinking that there should be a way to declare these variables within Simba that can be accessed by each script you run. Of course I also think it would be obligatory to make sure the scripts cannot actually CHANGE these variables.
Ideas?

Why not create a user panel.
Fill in all the general stuff from Players.scar and place them in a file. We should encrypt the info in a closed source file.

Why a closed-source file? Just have a key made somewhere where the scripts won't be able to get to it and use that to encrypt things

You could also just have a user setup an include file that just had a DeclarePlayer's in it then include that after SRL. Trying to prevent malicious use of it would be impossible unless you made variables that were non-accessible through the script and any procedure that uses them would then have to be made part of the core executable/library.
Also, people use different accounts for different things, ie a fletching member account and a f2p woodcutter.

Widget, I thought of that after. Just have the gpg-key generated per user.
Would allow for completely safe storage. Just have the gpg lib used in mufasa, but is the lib available for woedows?

PGP is a bit overkill. There's no way to really save it safely anyway? If scripts can access it runtime. (They also need to able to access passwords, etc…)

It hasn't ever really been a major issue though, has it? I can probably count the number of times a script itself has stolen on one hand, where as the number of times people have accidentallyed DeclarePlayers when uploading a script is a lot more. A well used player form is a much more central and, in the end, more user friendly way of handling it.

I believe that this is something that belongs in SRL rather than in Mufasa (The players example)

Yes. But there are plans to partially integrate SRL into Mufasa as well. So we will have to look at this when Mufasa is more done, and we can focus on SRL.
