This tutorial is written for windows.
Things required:
1. Putty
2. Firefox
3. Access to a server running openssh and linux.
Step 1. Open Putty. It will look like this.

Enter your servers hostname (or ip), click SSH then write in the port you use. (Default is 22).

Click on the ssh tab, then tick the box that says "Enable compression". Under the ssh tab, click on tunnels

Make the source port 80, then select the dynamic radio button and click add.

Go back to the session tab then under "Saved sessions" write "SSH Tunnel" or something. Click save then click open.
Write in your username and password for the server, and when it successfully connects, it will look like this:

Now, minimize that window, but don't close it or the tunnel will be lost.
Step 2. Open Firefox.
Click on tools then click options.

Select the "Advanced" tab, then click the "Network" tab then click settings. Next you will come to a screen that looks like this:

Click "Manual proxy configuration" and where is says socks write in 127.0.0.1 (That is your localhost. Make sure you are not running a webserver). Where it says port, write 80 (Which is the default HTTP port) then click OK. Click OK on the other screen too then go to
http://www.displaymyhostname.com/
To check your hostname and your I.P address.
I did a before and after here to show you that it works.
This was before I set up the SSH Tunnel

and after

In your firefox browser, enter about:config in the URL.
Click "I'll be careful, I promise!"
Where it says filter search for "network.proxy.socks_remote_dns" and when it shows up, right click it and click "Toggle". After you close the SSH Tunnel, remember to turn the proxy off, and retoggle that so it disables it (Thanks Bam_Bam for telling me this step)
Enjoy.
