That statistic is over a 24 hour period rather than simultaneous online users in ~5mins.

This is probably due to RSC update.

i think it would be interesting to know stats about the population on SRL. Like how many people per month sign up at the forums. From there, how many of those people continue to stay active and for how long. How many of those people have x posts per day. How many of them go on to become members. etc, etc. All in easy to see and understand graphs over time. It would be interesting initially, and i think it would be functional, to see if any efforts to get activity up work.

Using page parsing you could construct your own database of users, when they joined, their average posts per day and so on. It may take a while as there are quite a few members, but you could then get any statistics you wanted from it.

mix: we've already shown that im either too lazy or incapable of such databasy things. Especially concerning page parsing. Aswell as i think it would be easier to do if done on the site.
