Make them all just one link, and when you click it, all of the subforums will be visible
(Similar to when you click S.M.A.R.T. under SSRL we have Download Smart, General Smart, etc etc inside of it)

Get rid of "SRL Library: Small Tuts about SRL-Functions in here…" only 11 threads in it, surely it can be joined with another forum?

Can we do drop down menu like for the forums? [-] [+] thingys to then show the sub-forums under them?

As is the forum list is LONG for me… I think I have to scroll down 3-4 pages just to see it all depending which screen/computer I'm on.

Id love the + - idea a lot, i'd like even more for just a big heading like
HOMEWORK which you click, and then AFTER you click that all of the subforums are visible in there. I think whoever uses the less-used forums can spare one extra click?

u do know u can just cllapse the categories?

No to everything said above, all it will achieve is making the main page smaller, which doesnt really do anything. Adding extra clicks is damn annoying, decentralising the forum layout will increase confusion and functionality - how do you decide which forums you want to put where, and how do people remember this? If the way its ordered know really hurts peoples heads they can use control+f or collapse the forums.

I'm not opposed to the idea of merging/changing some forums though, as there are a few redundant ones.

redundant, yes..I have always opposed the general dump..if you look through there, you can see that most all questions can be placed in 1 sub-forum or another…the only advantage I see, is that post count is disabled…

perhaps organize a bit, but the minimizing feature is available to all :)

We could use some editing of the sub-forum descriptions though, perhaps something a little more friendly ;)

and..if it is indeed going to be an open registration again, or doing away with Jr. Member, there should be a new public policy written to reflect what is now expected of people ?

Being able to access subforums with a collapsable tree structure thing would be nice though (as in, right now to get to the Reflection subforum I have to open the SMART forum first).

Owkay Owkay :[. I can I can collapse, but then I have to do an extra click to get into the forums that i collapsed when i need them :p! At least make descriptions nicer, and like RAM said, kill sections that can fit in others eg; General Dump.
Also, Make the black market forum 1 click to enter the sub-forums (its fail anyways :D)

All the sections except for Dev, Mod, SSRL i have minimized :p

You would have to do an extra click to get into any forum with your initial proposal silly!
