I know we keep saying its being worked on but other then the hooks what progress is there?
I talked to Method briefly about the changes in the system and it sounds to me that we will have to change the reflection functions as well. The system is setup differently either in a different order or arrays etc from my speculation.
I don't know the specifics so could Method and maybe a few others that have looked into it give some information and maybe possible solutions?
I'll start a list as soon as I know what is broken etc.
Reflection is a awesome tool and it would increase the activity here if we brought it back.
I'll move this to SRL Members forum later just want to get SSRL+ to discuss first.

I've got some research from when I started to fool with it..
- All interface related stuff is broken
- TileToMS broken
- Some random core stuff, such as "r_ChooseOption/r_IsUpText"
Much has to be re-written.
But with the correct hooks, I think we can manage it :)

Couldn't TileToMS be approximated with just regular maths, because GetPosition works (I think)?

I took a look at objects yesterday in RSBot, doesn't look too bad. It's manageable

r_chooseoption , and r_isuptext never really worked too well. For some reason the hooks are screwy, and results are inconsistent. I never figured out whether it was SMART or the hooks..

Rule A - SMART's main purpose, getting the fields, will NOT break. RuneScape will always have a class and a field.

I just got out of the hospital today after getting surgery on my jaw, so I may have some more free time over the next few days/weeks to help out more. I'll look into the client later and try to point out to you guys how different things are stored, like items, menu elements, and objects so we can get going on those.

What's up with your jaw? :o

It was fractured in two places after getting tackled chin-first into the ground on Wednesday night during football practice.
Now my mouth is just about glued shut with braces lining most of my teeth and rubber bands keeping it closed. I'll be slurping food from a straw for the next 5 weeks or so.

Thanks. :)
I'll try to find some time tonight and maybe tomorrow to work on refactoring the current client to get everything figured out. I have a good idea of how it might work (especially items and menu elements) - I just need to document everything properly.

I've just started learning java, so i won't be much help, but i'd be more than glad for any learning opportunities :)
