Physics Tennis Ball Launcher

I need to create a Tennis Ball Launcher that can be fully operated by a dog. I think a human can turn it on, so no worrying about motion sensor.

This means the ball launches, a dog gets it, drops it back in the bucket, then it launches, continuing until the dog dies. (Hypothetically)

Here is a basic drawing of what I was thinking. (Remember, basic)

I plan on using some PVC piping for any tubes, and I can manage building a slanted bucket for the ball to roll down. I am really struggling on coming up with two motors of some sort to launch the ball. I want two that go in opposite directions to try and reach a decent velocity.

The housing will not be too hard, but I just don't know what to use. I can't think of anything that isn't extremely expensive!

If anyone has some ideas on what to do, I'd greatly appreciate it. I have 2 months to complete it.

got your motors, 22 Turn motor or a 19 Turn motor.

While the specs list a max voltage, I've heard people say they run these at 11.1V with no damage.
The 22 turn will have a little more torque, and the 19 turn will have a little more RPM's.

Just wire them straight to a switch with…a car battery? might work with a car battery.

Or go to a junk shop and get some electric drills and take those motors.

there are pitching machines (for like baseball). some of them use 2 motors some use one. just google pitching machines and see for yourself :p
