Hmmm, I just "happen" to have a disk on an old account…. any ideas on selling and then getting that money on to my main ? it's on one of my old bankers that I didn't get the junk off of before the update so I bought it when it was less than 2-3 mil… I almost put it on ge when I started *playing again, but went to world 2 and seen the crazy offers… it's a lvl3 with full mage(g), so only about 5 mil cash… imagine the frustration when someone puts up a yellow p-hat and I have no junk to make up the difference…

OMFG I'll buy the disk. Depending on how much you want for it, are they really worth a yellow phat? I saw someone offering a yellow for a disk yesterday, but could of been price manipulation. Not sure on how to trade between accounts, but theres a few methods in SRL Members Tutorials that I'd be happy to try.

well, I'm still looking for the way the Gold Sale sights are transfering large sums of money…making enough on Sudoku to almost not care :p…but If I can turn a 2 mil disk–> 20mil+ disk–> 1?? mil phat, then I'm game…

Hang on…why dont you just trade the disk to your main and pay market price? It's ~25m. Also, the cheapest phat is 300m street atm :) No idea on how to transfer mass amounts of cash though.

hmm, good idea, but I bet alot of people already have money at max price in ge on disk, so, I'm not so sure I would be guaranteed to be able to buy it…seems like it would go to the buyer that had their money on there the longest ?…I also was hesitant of why someone would want to trade a phat for a disk, but I see offers of 3-4 eggs for 1 disk all day long…wish I was "in the know" on why the demand is so huge now ?

Yeah, but you can still trade person to person if you've got the right amount of cash, then you could get the junk on your main, probably alot easier to do than on a level 5.

I have a vague idea why theyre so popular now, around 8 months ago pumpkins, eggs and disks dropped really really really low - down to a few m each (because they are all absolutely useless, no one wanted to buy so people sold at min, and the GE did the rest). So the "casual" owners started selling when they were going down as they wanted their investment back, they would of been bought up by a few super rich players wanting to hoard, and because of that the amount in general population has decreased alot, making them "rarer" (but not really). Since you cant buy on ge, the players start selling for way above the ge price, everyone says "OMG Look! The most useless rares are at a super high, ridiculous price, lets make a massive offer like a phat so I can get one and do absolutely nothing with it". This drives the ge price up more and more, because of all the offers to buy going in.

Basically, the ge (and a few rich clans/people) have completely fucked the rares market (more than it already was), along with everything else it did. Funny how santas and masks are barely wanted now, when they do more than the edibles and disk do.

on a side note… Does anyone know if BH still works ? ….edible rares are considered food, and I've heard of people bringing them and trading this way, but not sure if it was nerfed or not ?

On a related note, if anyone has any old rares on old accounts that they have no use for and arent interested in getting junk etc, I'll buy all edibles, wines and disks

How about I donate a bunch of good accounts and we can take turns autoing on them, testing scripts…as long as everyone comunicates with each other and we don't over abuse them, and then we sell them to pay the bills here…maybe insure the hosting is paid for the next few years ?…perhaps a an additional dedicated server …..and/or would it be to capitalistic to split the profitable revenue…we already allow a black market section here…hmmm…could I be actualy insinuating a buisness venture….anyways..none of my accounts have recoveries set, but I'd be willing to let someone be in charge of setting them..and registering email address to SRL forums/Shell Company?…I'm not worried about being dicked over, as I am donating the accounts and anyone reading this is trustworthy…

..but accounts by themselves are worth pretty much nothing, so we would have to sell the gold(which only good method we got is sudoku), but then we would need a GP transfer method :(

Nope, strictly account training…maybe we all take turns training a certain skill…I'm just board with it…realizing that if you can't beat them, join them…spending so much effort and not seeing much return…like I said..donate the proceeds to SRL…I only run sudoku on my personal account and I pretty much got all the stuff I had before ,on my new account, that I had spent on my last 8 years playing the game legit***(Ain't that a bitch…bittersweet),…. I still train my army..I guess I could sell them and buy some Christmas presents…but I'd rather ensure the future of this community…or for that matter…maybe we get a group collective going…we can create accounts specifically for this purpose….

I just wanted to throw it out there, seeing there was concerns for JAD, I WON'T be using Sudoku or Member's scripts to generate this money or train accounts…I played RS legitimate for 6 years before coming here and have 100's of accounts that I have been given, bought, traded or trained since learning of SRL/SCAR.

I would buy some even if just to help SRL, but I used my sweet paypal 4.38€ to practically buy 7m :p

No Problem, I did this mostly for my girl friend to try and get her involved a little bit…she has no interest in the game, but loves real life money (what girl doesn't :p) soo, I donated some accounts to her and have been trying to show her a few things with SCAR,,, it was about $100 to get the website domain registered,hosted, Security keyed and use their template builder (whois) , so as long as i get that back and have a little fun doing it, no worries
