every script i try to run crashes, i have the latest dev SRL, the latest pre-release scar…. i originally thought it was a bug with FindColorsSpiralTolerance but now i think its something else
is anyone else having scar crash?

Have you got any self-produced plugins? They can cause mountains of fun if done improperly.
Also, does any script include one that's just a writeln or something similar? If not, then it would be nicer to break it down to exactly what does cause it.
Lastly, try using 3.21 or a different Scar version just in case it is a problem with the pre-releases.

My vista with pre-release version of scar doesn't crash, with or without smart.
Does it crash before the script starts? can you see any errors in the debug before it crashes?
EDIT: Don't go down to 3.21, as it's not because of the pre-release, we have all the same stuff, vista, pre-release, and I'm assuming Dev SVN, and it doesn't happen to me, try to figure out what's causing this.

my scar only crashes if i use a form so i have to change scripts so that they donw use a form if they do
