Looks pretty good, just seems kind of boring with only a smudge background

I've learned that to much text is just to bad.

you don't have to add huge text, or your whole name, but maybe a slightly different color. that's all

Sorry myles, I like some of your others better.

Text is perfectly fine if you blend it in :)
Oh and try to add some effects to the text

:redface: well, the background is quite good, just a little… "monotonus" ?

The render isn't blended at all into the background and the text either.

I like this one the best… eh, I'm going back to ubuntu in a few days and wont have photoshop. Maybe I will get good at gimp.

TBH i like your last one better. I didn't even notice the text at first, make it stand out, like a darker red, or even black/white.

Yours is better, but it isn't super duper wicked awesome.

Meh. Not a fan. It hasnt really got any appeal or artistic value. The background is quite monotonous and bland, looks pretty 'Play with filters ftw' sort of work.

I agree with the general census… too blank… but it is done well. Might I suggest having something Captain-like going on with like a 90% transparency in the background? Just a small pic.. but it would definitely add flavor. :P
