Seeing how Ivy is the easiest way to get 99 wc because theres no banking involved I was just wondering if anyone wanted to code up an autoer.

You can!

Check out the tutorial island and you are one step closer!

That would be awesome, well you don't get anything from cutting ivy so you dont have to worry about your inventory getting full. I think the best place is outside Falador, on the north east wall and the Ivy is right against the wall. Heres a pic. As for functions hmmm I guess it could be pretty basic. Just needs to click the ivy then when it dissapears to move to the next one. No need for a script that logs on, no proggy.. idk what else im missing.

I will do you a deal.
So you can get scripting experience,
You make me Ivy in the format of:
'ivy':
with Result do
begin
Name := 'ivy';
UpText := ['I Iv', 'Ivy'];
Color := 4297090;
Tol := 11;
Hue := 0.04;
Sat := 0.91;
width := 30;
hight := 30;
Level := 15;
end;
and I will add Ivy into my ProWoodcutter so you can use.
Deal?

xxjustin100xx

2009-10-24 21:28:29

Name := 'ivy';
UpText := ['I Iv', 'Ivy'];
Color := 2639671;
Tol := ?;
Hue := ?;
Sat := ?;
width := ?;
hight := ?;
Level := ?;

All I can get is the color, I'm looking in the basic tutorials and I don't see anything about finding the Tolerance, Hue, Saturation, Width, Height, and Level.

procedure ColortoHSL(C: TColor; var H, S, L: Extended);
Converts Color to Hue, Saturation and Luminance map.

Thats all I found. I'm sorry but I'm trying and not getting anywhere, I work on cars not code scripts :(

You can use the autocolor aid to get accurate Tol,Hue, Sat and so on.

It's in your scar/includes folder somewhere…

Um if thats what its supposed to mean then here it is

ivy':
with Result do
begin
Name := 'ivy';
UpText := ['I Iv', 'Ivy'];
Color := 2573369;
Tol := 4;
Hue := 1.45;
Sat := 0.22;

2) Reflection/All reflection scripts currently dont work. Sorry.

Dynamite

2009-10-26 05:02:01

YoHoJo, my script does work.
Because I only use ref for walking, so it doesn't rely on it.
Justin, you can take out the reflection bits (walking) and the reflection include.
In the setup you want tree as: ivy
and location as: power
Hope this helps :)

I did, but I don't think it works anymore.
It would be easy to make one yourself though.
Just get it to click it, wait till it has gone, click a new one, repeat

it's actually one of the easiest scripts to write for your first time.

FindObjectTPA(stuffinhere)

failsafes, viola your done. No Dropping no nothing, just continuous chopping.

in the tut island section ;) I'm too lazy to look through myself but have a good read in there, I spend the first month of scripting reading tut island and stealing other peoples code :p

Very very basic, but I used a while ago to get 99wc on one of my account's. You might need to update some colors.

I used it at the caste walls south of adrougne, not sure if it works other places or not.

I would of, but I couldn't remember the name of the place :p

Also, let me know how it work's. If there is a demand for this script I might clean it up a bit/add some features and release.

E: You just need to update the IvyColor.

It's in the MainLoop:

IvyColors := [5609589, 3828049, 4289882, 4355932, 3695694, 4949607, 4157783, 3563594];
replace all those colors with new ones.

There is definitely a demand for it without question. I will try to script one once I get 99 FM. I am at 97 atm though.

I will try to see if those colors work and let you know! Thanks~

- Resize SCAR and open up Runescape. So that you can see the ivy and SCAR.

- Make sure SCAR is on top

- Go to tools –> Color picker or press Ctrl + P

- Your cursor will be like a +

- Click on the ivy in Runescape window

- You will get something like Color Picked: 16777215 at (356, 242)

- That 16777215 is your color

- Do this as many times as you want, choose different colors of the ivy

Then replace this line (do a Ctrl + F and Type IvyColors to find the line)

IvyColors := [5609589, 3828049, 4289882, 4355932, 3695694, 4949607, 4157783, 3563594];

with

IvyColors := [Color 1, Color 2, Color 3, Color 4, Color 5, Color 6, Color 7, Color 8];

Replace the Colors, with the Ivy color you get from the color picker. You can put as many colors as you want. Remember, the more colors you put, the less chance of failing to find Ivy.

You will also want to make sure the colors are unique, so it doesn't find them in grass, trees, etc.

I'm currently tweaking my Yew Chopper for release, I have it set up with the stats system incase anyone wants to see how it runs so far.

After I release that I can improve this script though. I didn't realize so many people wanted one.
