Price fell -21gp and no-one's been buying them in 3 days. I have had almost 5k soul runes in GE for mid price for 3 days, and not a single rune has been bought!
Not more than a week ago they went in minutes…

???

Meh just sell them lowest, looks like a merch clan butt-raped them or something like that.
Price of 500+gp for soul runes are already outrageous I think, but getting more and more common all the time..

That happened early September (http://news.runescape.com/newsitem.ws?id=2168), which caused the massive rise, as predicted. The sudden drop in price looks like Jagex price fixing. They introduced the infinite items in shops to prevent autoers from buying them out and selling for large profits, and then they say they made this update partly to relax arbitrary price limits on items - this had the effect of driving up the price and making them autoable again, so to combat this they put abitrary limits back on these items. Wtf

Speaking of eyes of newts, http://services.runescape.com/m=itemdb_rs/Eye_of_newt/viewitem.ws?obj=221. Looks like jagex periodically reduce the item price to what they think it should be, force it to stay at that amount for a while, and then let it rise again? Sucks for people investing in those items.
