So yea, there has to be a first time for everything, and this time it's my first-thread-in-tutorial-section time!
So here presenting, how to install SCAR on OS X :)
What you need:
Ok so first install XCode, it should be on your OS X installation CD or else just download it from here, (if the link doesn't work: use the Apple website, login using your Apple ID and five secs later you're at the downloads page).
If you don't know how to install something on OS X, follow these steps:
Open a Terminal (Finder, Applications, Utilities), do like 'sudo port install wine' and it'll start downloading >9k libs and other stuff required for Wine. Wait til its done downloading/compiling/installing. This took me around an hour or 2 at my quadcore PC, so really, get the coffee going :p
After Wine finally installed, download SCAR (3.15b works well), save it somewhere, then go to the terminal, do like wine -> scar315bsetup.exe and wait while X11 boots up at your wonderful system :)
Install SCAR.
To get SMART working:
Getting SMART working isn't too hard. First, install the WINDOWS Java version from http://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp (online installer works fine).
Then install SRL as usual, copy plugins and such.
After that, SMART should work fine! :)
Things still to do:
Well I still haven't found out how to associate .exe files with Wine, so it saves me the hassle of opening a terminal every time I want to start SCAR. But other than that, SCAR/SRL works just as it would on Windows!
And of course, a screeny for the kicks (clickme):

(Gotta admit that Quartz looks way better than any other window manager around ^-^)
