Damn. This wouldn't be quite as bad except for the whole "it's existed since launch, and Apple hasn't said/done anything" part.

I had my sister log onto the guest account on her Mac; she just updated to Snow Leopard. I am so mean :3c

Haha! Now that's funny. My friends were all hyped when it came out, I told them not to get it. I'm going to back my roommates data on my HD and then get him lol.

The bug only influences a relatively small number of users though, and only seems to affect people who upgraded.

It happens to anyone who updated to Snow, so anyone who updated is affected. :p
