I don't see the funny. You pay for the game; the driver updates and installation just come with it.

Nuuuuuuuu~, it is only the install fee. You must own the game, or buy it before they install it.

Absolutely horrific. I've heard many stories from clients that have had bad experiences with GS, but I think very few were as ridiculous as that.

That is so sad… That should actually be considered fraud.

Boreas, Staples Canada just hired the Best Buy Canada National GS Manager to become the new Staples EasyTech National Manager :( I have a bad feeling about it.

Agreed, the best thing EasyTech has/had going for it was that it wasn't as bad as GS. US brass has been sending more stupid policies down the pipe lately, most of them seem to be because a few idiots made a mistake, and now everyone has more paper work to do.

"…only a computer expert should attempt such task."
… was because I didn't feel like copying the entire sentence. But that's such bs, only an expert should attempt installing new OS's… I should start doing these things that they are for half the price, I'll be rich, everyone would pay me, and I would get like 50/60 dollars for like 10 minutes of my time. They are so greedy for charging so much, and for such a stupid service also. They fail hardcore in my opinion.

I hate that, especially when people know better. Like on Saturday, the gave a lady back her computer that was on my "NOT DONE" rack and they ignored the suspended transaction on it. So basically she got a free new HDD, free external HDD, free backup onto the Ex HDD, free os. SOOOO Chris is not a happy camper today when he came into work. People need to learn to read. We have a new RUSCOMP form coming out too :( I hate paperwork.
They took away something that wasn't finished?
Hobbit
2009-10-12 19:31:27
No, they were given something that wasn't finished cause people are stupid. Friday night I even called the customer to tell them it wouldn't be done until monday because there is no technician in until then, they were fine with it. But they come in anyway on saturday and they are given it, it has no OS and they were charged yet. So I'm gonna assume they haven't turned it on yet, they aren't the sort of people who know what exactly and OS is left alone install one. But unlike GS, their HDD really was messed lol.
I guess it isn't 100% your fault.
BTW any good deals :f:?

That program is absolute crap!
It causes more problems then it fixes!
We tried it out at work cause some GS guy left the CD in a customers unit and it was still there when they brought it into us. It sucks huge time.
Thats why I <3 My lenovo.
1 button factory default ^^.

I do it for 15 euro, including the game x) (not completely legal though). And for a total of 20 euro you get a game and a complete computer clean-up!
Factory default crap -> hate it too, always installs that beta trial crap too. Just install a new Windblows, some drivers you can get off the manufacturer website, some AV and your system is running blazing fast again.
Still a rip-off for that kind of stuff. Most people over here got a friend who got a friend who got a cousin who can do shit like that, for less than half the price.
Fraud it is, and as fraud it should be punished.
