yes, i've moved the plugins and updated from http://www.villavu.com/repositories/srl-opendev/

First off, have you installed Java? If yes, then you will probably need to install JDK (Java development kit)

Now it opens embedded smart and gets to the login screen, but there is no mouse and it doesn't do anything.

Any ideas?

You need to set the screen size to fixed by hand.
