I got something in sweden is called a 'tick', its basically you do something over and over and often disturbing others, I have two ticks :

1 : I left click AND right click and then left click again on the same spot

2 : I left click and right click and hit the scroll.

I REAALY need to get rid of this, I want to stop but I can't, I even force myself not to but when I'm not concentrated at that exact time, I just do it again.

Help me and get a rep :p

I have three suggestions that may work.

1) Take time each day to try to get rid of your 'tick'. Practice scrolling and clicking for at least 15 minutes each day, and eventually you will get rid of it.

2) Place a 'post-it' note somewhere in plane sight that you will always be able to see while on your computer that will remind you not to do this 'tick'. Put on it 'do not click!' or something that will make you remember.

3) Get a new mouse, a different style, that you need to learn how to use, such as the picture placed below (i have one like this :D)

I have a touch screen, not as good as one might think..

Bion - I try 'post-it' way, else its silent mousing for me, cheap and works, but I'm not that handy so don't wanna ruin a good mouse.

You don't have to put it on your mouse, you could stick it to your desk, or the side of your monitor. Just anywhere in plane site :p

Or just let go of the mouse..?

Play a First person shooter game for awhile, you'll have to stop the habit if u want to live/kill shit. And there is some good free FPS's out there.
