hi guys you may have seen some of my scripts in the scripts section, i'll be making and posting more soon..anyways, now i have a request from you guys

if you wouldnt mind, could some of you post some good luring guides on here in this thread? or pm them to me? i usually just pk and auto in runescape so this would help me out if some of you wouldnt mind sharing, if you PM them to me and you dont want them to get leaked i can keep them unshared, but please reply with some good lures :P

(btw i know this is stupid but could someone also explain to me what exactly luring is lol…)

Luring is a way of scamming, which is sort of on the border of being against rules or not(like sellign charcoal for 1mil or something), this comunity is not about scamming other people, just to beat jagex at their own game. Ow and luring is luring someone to wildy(saying you want to trade in wildy, or you want to go pking) and then kill him(with team or something), however if I find out you are going to do this, im personally gonna kill you ^^(f14 tomcat in garage)

this is not a scamming community!!!! SO DONT! if you do, ill post it at your aply and i bet no one will want you…. this is a cheating community, we only steal from jagex not from other players, we play the game in another way, we want to beat the game, not have mills(well some do, but most dont)

Luring is a completely legal way to play the game. More advanced versions involve having say a 20++ team. them all logged out, you start fighting someone who's better (or has a p hat lol) then your team logs in and owns. Many different versions of course, each man unto his own. If you could use your autoed rs guys for a massive team, it would be unstoppable :).

jeez calm down >_> luring isnt scamming, its the person who is getting lured fault for brining precious items to the wilderness, they should know better than to bring a party or a santa hat to the wilderness. and i wont lure since u feel so strongly about it lol
edit: and yes luring IS legal because i've seen mods get lured but they dont do anything about it. also, (rofl that mod lure was really funny when it happened … anyways) luring is just pking, how many times have u taunted someone to go to wildy and fight you? or lied about ur stats? that would be considered luring i guess. luring is basically just using ur brain for something creative. just like scripting :P and also, i dont think my srl application should have any bias towards what i do in game, thats my own personal business of what i do in game, srl applications are there to test your scripting knowledge. ( no i do not scam people i just wanted to try out luring and see if it worked.)

Luring, pking, and scamming, however related or unrelated they are, are all vs. other players, not against jagex so you can talk about them on another forum.

And don't worry about your app, everything will come in due time.

Firstly : Do NOT threaten other people at SRL. This is a safe and friendly comunity. Also, threatining to kill other people will get you a one way ticket to prison/juvie. Chose your words carefully.

Secondly : Take a deep breath. Lureing is legal. Deal with it.

Thirdly : We DONT "seteal" from jagex. They SPAWN gold/ore/logs/whatever else so it isnt theft. Its saving ourselves from lots of wasted time and carpel tunnel ;)

Yes, you have to work for hours to cash in this game…. Or Macro FTW.
Good lure: (was done on me, not successful)
1.)Get a high level friend, or you can do it at your level.
2.)Find someone selling/buying items on the RS Forums in your level range. If you were level 80 your range is 79, 80, or 81. (You can use your friend, so it seems less obvious, level 115 cant kill a level 79 at level 1 wild, until the imba mage comes!)
3.)Say "I'll sell you X amount of X items for <Cheaper then the normal price>" or whatever.
4.)Get a book with the option "read" and tell them to come to the bridge at east Edgeville.
5.)Say Follow me.
6.)Read the book, and close the window the book opens.
7.)The book will make them run in the wild(tell them to set run)
8.)Run in and use imbalanced magic spells until they're dead.


NOTES:
Try to have no skull.
Not 100% the Book thing works…. Haven't tried it.

Imbalenced magic? ok and for now im a f2p person so could anyone tell me some good f2p lures? i know theres not many but im not a mem yet. thanks for the guide though kaldo

holy god look up runescape lure vids on youtube!
Its amazing.
Some wierd book glithces and other random stuff with treees and stuff.

So like a team of 2 gets one guy to tell one to get on lv1 wild.
They like trade him or something, and then the 2nd guy acients him like no tomoro!

NOTICE ULTIMATE RUNE BUYERS LURE GUIDE: (suggest nature, chaos, death, blood)
(can also do with other items besides runes, but i personally only do this for runes )

browse forums for a person selling the type of runes you need:

Look up their stats in highscores and determine wether they are 1 level within your combat level (THIS WILL NOT WORK IF THEY ARE NOT)

next: it is vital that they agree to meet in edgey bank, once they arrive at edgey they will most likely PM you.

Now heres the tricky part..

after the edgey PM, tell them that you ran to the pray guild because you had to recharge prayer and ask them if they could meet you over there.

They will most likely run through lev 1 wildy to get there

Your job is to hide in lev 1 wildy and once you see them run by
(they will be carrying the runes and maybe alot of GP :D )

You cast entangle\\bind or anyother movement stopping skill on them and Mage or range them to death :) (melee also works but i suggest range\mage)

they most likely wouldn't bring any combat equipment or food.

so i think this is one of the best ways to get free runes :cool: worked for me 2 out of 6 times that i tried.

OMG ^^^ that was done 2 me! cept just a lil bit differnt. some1 messaged me saying i heard u wanted to buy a whip? ill sell u 1 for 1.3 mill! so i was like sweet ok! he said meet at edgy bank and i said just tele to cammy and sell he said he cant cuZ if he moves he lags and logs out. so i said well ill just till ut not laggin and he said that wont work cuz his membership runs out tonight so i needed to hurry.. ( i got very suspicios after that, but it was a great deal so i went on) then he said just tele to edgy so i did with glory ammy and he said go to bridge and ull see me cuttin a yew and fletching. he was in lvl 1 wild by tree and hes lvl 117 im lvl 81. so now he sais trade him(i have 1.3 mil on me) so i said no get out of wild. he said the lag thing so it ran in wild traded him then ran out. he followed and logged in and out like 5 times. he was like dude dont do that i might get stuck out of of rs again cuz i lag so bad. so i went and traded him then held my mouse still and started at MM i saw a white dot appear nect to me! i immedeatly closed the the trade. i read the chat box and i was snared not teleblocked so i quiclkylw went to tele and teled to cammy! with 16 hp left! the lvl 82 pure ancint magicked me and then dds me from 70 hp-16 very quickly! luckily i got away at the last second.. but even though iw as pissed, i had to give that guy props cuz that shit was pretty good!

Oh btw- the reason he got 2 16 hp was cuz i was on my moms crappy labtop and the labtop mouse is hard to use! so i was like moving in slow motion as my character was being pwnd! it sucked! but i got away alive tee hee =]

You cannot get banned for luring. The book method, however, can get you banned for bug abuse.
People SHOULDN'T bring money/pricey items into the wild, and it even gives them the warning before they enter.

The book method doesnt work anymore , neither does the high alch while theyre following thing.
IMHO , if theyre that stupid to go near wildy with their 5m gp or rare items , or what ever it is , its their fault , ive had a couple of big lures , 2 santa hats and a mask set , i didnt regret it as it was ( in a way ) their fault. Most lures are dead now , the only people that full for them are low lvl players.
