Acording to the new naming system in runescape does anybody plan to change the names of any of their characters?

I plan on changing my main to something a bit better :)
(anyone have really good pure names for their guys?)

Also do you think RS will keep black marks based on name or account name?

I would try if it wasn't exclusively for members at the moment.

Black marks would definitely be kept, or they would they jagex would fail big time. What if you choose a new name that has black marks?

How does the name changing work? You can change your name to whatever name is open? Is there a limit to the number of times you can change it?

You can change it every 28 days.

I like where they are going with this. Maybe in the future there will be multiple characters per account or something.

This update totally sucks unless you want to remove numbers from your name.
I spent about 3 hours today trying to get an original name.
First tried greek gods .. they were ALL taken.
Then I tried myth[a/e/i]logical (spelling) creatures.. all were taken.
Then I tried a bunch of other names off the top of my head and they were all taken.

PLUS the page took forever to get on.. and i'd always get these stupid errors.

So basically this update was a big joke.

I can't even get past the login page for it -.-

Edit: I see, they decided it would be a good idea to check if the name was taken each time you type a single letter. That won't overload the servers at all or anything…

Or rushed because they are realizing that people are quitting in droves.
