I'm finally 17, and can drive now without another person being with me that has 3 years experience. I'm from NJ, USA, so you don't get to drive alone till 17. I passed my test and got my license already. DMV made me take forever, so if I went to school it wouldn't of counted as a day, being so late, so I got the day off :D

I get to drive the car when I'll be 18 and they even plan to change the law to even extend the age limit. :(

I got my licence before I was 17 :)
Only costs about $150 I believe.. still have to get my full licence though. I have the "Drive alone but only alone, no friends" license.

It's the same rule here in Massachusetts; Permit at 16, license at 16.5, full license after 6 months of the "junior license"

when I got mine I got it when I was 15, and the youngest you can get it is 14.5 if you live outta town. The class cost $150, and the actualy liscense costs like $40 for 8 years or so? I don't have to get a new one till 2017.

In canada (ontario), we can get G2 (Drive without supervision) like 6 month after your 16th birthday :D
